My estimate 1-strip front $400-800 depends if motor needs to come out 2- repair dampage to radiator support $500-1000 depends if rails are damaged 3-paint $1000-1400 4- refit $500-1000 depends if you need to refit motor Parts $1800-2500 for a fully dressed front cut. This way you get everthing to repair it, then sell whats left from the front cut. Aftermarket parts like FMIC will be extra. total $4200-6700. if you can do the stripping and the refitting (the fun bits) you could get away from for about $900-1800 less. I have repair 5 or 6 cars before like this with more damage, and has never cost me more than $4000 doing some of the work myself. Form what the photo's look like from here (in Brisbane) it should not be a write-off

Thanks DoubleD Mine turned out to be the same problem I found when you do up the bolt that holds the plug into the ECU, it causes the plug to curve at each end causing it not to make a good connection. This can also happen with factory ECU aswell Solution- I used cable ties which went around the whole ECU and plug and pulled the plug in tight at each end.

The unit is brand new I have not have enough time to play around with the settings too much Will try on the week-end Dose the casing on the ecu need to be touching the metal body of the car (earthed out)?? I mounted the ecu using the factory bottom ecu bracket, but it is held in and isolated from the body with the velco strips that come with the PFC I have the stock AFM at the moment with a Apexi pod, so the it should be set to the first R33.... AFM option? I did let is run for approx 20min, it farted and carried on a bit thuo. Turned air cond on etc.
  10. Tried the re-initialise last night, no change, still not running right. Looks like will I have to wait for the tune once a I get the cams and injectors in.

  13. I turned it off before I started it Even tried turning it back on to make sure I had it the right way. The would not run more than 2 seconds with it turned on. I have refitted the factory computer and the car is running fine.
  14. No the car has FMIC, pod , exhaust, fuel pump and a few other things My understanding, it sould run on the base map, if running standard boost etc.
  15. I just fitted a Apexi Power Fc and Hc to my 95 GTST manual It is a brand new unit When i started the car, it is or sounds like it is not running on all the 6 cylinders Anyone have an idea what is wrong Thanks

Can you measure the machined inlet diameter size of the compressor housing I would like to compare it to my high flow on my RB25 I do not who built mine, it does not have a XTR badge on it and it is a Rb20 compressor housing, which has a smaller compressor oulet diameter than the stock RB25 turbo I took off. Does anyine know if they use the same size compressor wheel in the Rb20 and Rb25 compressor housing?

  21. What about a 34GTR front conversion onto R33 or R32 Do you think that is the same as putting a GTR badge on a GTS? I have been thinking about doing the conversion, but still not sure Also fitting R33 GTR rear quaters. That way I can fit 18x10 on the rear
