darrinspencer replied to Houdini's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Bought 3rd set of new fronts seats have to decide which ones to put in Evo 8 Recaro's Brand new bright red Millinium Recaros's Black Drift R34 GTR copies. Collecting new engine parts for forged Rb26 swap Brand new R32 GTR engine wiring harness, Nismo conrods, ACL multi layer head gasket, ARP head bolts, Genuine gasket kit, s/hand spitfires, stock ecu for Nistune. N1 oil pump (might change to Nitto) next pistons, bearings, maybe new crank, and head parts like valve guides, springs etc and a pair of -5's = 400rwkw and hopefully a high 11 sec . -
Spotted a couple of damaged stagea's up for auction NSW May interest someone. Annoying I had all the parts to repair this. C34 is a manual and looks to be a fairly easy repair, has a few extra's http://www.pickles.com.au/damaged/vehicle/CP-07-10-Nissan-Stagea-WC34-Wagon-5-Seats-4-Doors/itemid-1-202123450/lotid-0 M35 is repairable, just had to find parts for cheaply. Both airbags gone. Needs a fair bit of work http://www.pickles.com.au/damaged/vehicle/NO-C-P-Nissan-Stagea-Wagon-5-Seats-4-Doors/itemid-1-202126396/lotid-0

Great photo's from Phat300 and Mattye -
If you increase your budget to $2.5k -$3k then you should do it easy. Wolverine missed you have already done the fuel pump. You should consider doing the direct power feed mod to the fuel pump to max voltage and the max from the fuel. search the DIY section Yes do exhaust first. Then up boost to 10-11psi max if no ECU changes. You will need a boost gauge as well in using bleed valve. Everything listed so first is basically stage 1 mods to get the most out of the factory setup. Stage 2 type mods will be, highflow turbo, bigger injectors, z32 airflow meter, auto upgrade, fmic if not done at stage 1. Normally do these upgrades when you have the money or the factory turbo blows. Be aware stage 1 mods will limit factory turbo life. This should see around 250awkw and another $4-5k in cost with labour and retune Tuning costs approx $150-200 hour these days with 3-6 hours needed. So get as many mods done at once before you get it tuned.

Stagea Rear Strut Brace
darrinspencer replied to JiN_MaN's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I have one you can copy. not fitted to the car yet -
Hmm 200awkw. . . .$2k budget. . . you will be pushing it, but it could be done Since your car is a series 2 Neo, the stock turbo, side mount intercooler and injectors and airflow meter can just make it. Mods from stock as a miniumum will need to be full exhaust, boost control to get to max 14psi and ECU and tuning Fit Nistune and tune $1000-1200, need to shop around S/hand exhaust, 3 inch with hiflow cat and either spilt or bell mouth dump. $500 plus fitting $150-250 Maybe pick up a r33 exhaust for $200-300 and pay the extra labour to mod it to fit. Used stagea exhaust are hard to come by. Boost control cheap bleed valve $20-100, but be prepared for boost spoke issues, not the best. Maybe s/hand electronic boost controller $100-200 but that require more labour cost to fit. Labour is the worst killer. Ask someone on here who could help. It is amazing the value of a carton or 2. If you could slip in a s/hand front mount intercooler kit for say $200 it would help You will need good/new plugs, I only use cheap copper ones $15-20 set. Will need good spark, so coils need to be in good nic. If not, they could break down on dyno due to prolong heat build up etc, which inturn will cost you time and money to fix. Maybe find some cheap s/hand spares for back up $50. Under 90db will be fairly quite, 92db sounds good when up it, 96db+ will be heard down the road. Stick to a large rear muffler and front resinator to stay around 90db. You are in Melbourne? Talk to Trent at Status Tuning, he knows his stuff. Tuning is the most important thing,if you want things to last Edit. I assume you have a auto. I do not know too much about auto's so I won't comment, but you MAY have issues there with shifting etc. Maybe budget down the track a new valve body upgrade form MV auto's in SA. Auto may limit the power goal, maybe target 180awkw and any more is a bonus Also consider new good front brake pads. You need to stop.

Rb25det 4wd- Auto -> Manual Question
darrinspencer replied to Chris Rogers's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Spotted this for you Series 2 harness http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Se...om-t345989.html -
Due to the Neo having a smaller combustion chamber of 52-56cc and a R33 Rb35 and Rb26 having approx 62-68cc, you will need to use custom made pistons to get the compression down, otherwise it will be approx 10.5:1 If you use Rb26 crank you have to use rb26 pistons due to the pin height of 30.3mm. Rb25 is 32mm. Other wise pistons will come up too high out of the block

What brand sealant was used Aparently the genuine Nissan sealant is the ducks nuts and the only one that should be used. -

I bought it from a guy in SA. When I asked him who designed it, he said it is "exactly" the same as the proengines one So they must have copied it Just checked the proengines web site and pic's, they have sealant slots on one side only? http://www.proengines.com.au/sumpadapter.html Does yours have none or one side? I will have to check mine later. -
I spotted these inlet cam wheel adaptors for sale. I guy in NZ makes them ($50) They convert the VCT VVT on Rb25det inlet cam wheel to make it adjustable by reversing the bolts around so it can be adjusted without pulling it all apart Has anyone used these? Does it work? Is it worth it?

Not sure if this will help you, here is one I have lying around. It has the sealant slots in it for reference -
I use to run type B 260deg poncams when I had the smaller 380ps Apexi turbo on and 250rwhp. Probably a waste of time with that turbo. I removed them and sold them Probaly could put them to better use now with the gt3076. I did not re-shim.

Don't post vid's of any crazy Bribie Island retired volvo drivers Stagea drivers promote safe driving Good day out, shame so many had to miss it. Who votes a return trip over the mountain from the other side?? -
What Aftermarket Parts For 200awkw?
darrinspencer replied to SHETLANDER's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
The above post is spot on Once you start spending money the power goal of a SAFE 200awkw is the same for 250awkw Set your goal higher, because 200awkw is not enough -
