I will measure the mounting points on the recaro's.
I know they will not be a direct fit, but it is not hard to alter the cross rails that are welded on top of the sliders.
Wil do it tomorrow and get some better pic's
I have pair of Justjap 25mm bolt on spacers. Only used them for 200km, then changed wheels so no longer needed
These are $139 new plus freight

Pick up Brisbane
I have decided at this stage not to put a Rb26 in my car. The engine is currently in Melbourne at Import monster arriving last week from Japan
I will have it delivered to Brisbane this week for further inspection, if not sold prior to it being shipped
The autcion report said the engine was still running, but approx 20% lower compression on 2-3 cylinders
I bought this engine with intention to rebuild it with a Rb30 bottom end.
Looking at picks it looks complete except for the coil cover.
$2900 neg.
I have chased up seperatly a stock ecu , was going fit a nistune $100
Spitfire coil packs 6 months old $375
I have decided to sell my Evo 8 Recaros. They came out of a undamaged complied car with 40,000ks
The are in very good condition and have hard black plastic backs, but no rails.
Pickup in Brisbane or can freight (cost $80-120 pair)
Better pic's to come
Sell $1200
No
GTR rims are 9" wide not 9.5" as quoted above. They will have a bit more clearance
They will be close, depending on what struts you have and what camber you run
That really sucks. Lucky it did not go thru the windscreen or worst.
If you get stuck for parts, I have the bonnet, lights and grille, but no 260rs front bar. Could probably repair it needed
All done and works well. The main points
1. remove the 2 aligning studs in the head as they are too long. replace with bolts
2. Make a plate for the r34 IAC to adapt to the inlet plenum. have the air line point forward to pull back into inlet piping
3. move fuse box 25mm closer to the side of the car to clear throttle body
4. use a series 2 r33 throttle body. Fit the r34 TPS. Rotate throtle body 180deg so the cable is on the engine side. weld a bracket to the inlet plenum to support cable.
5. cut vacuum metal pipe to power steer pump as it fouls the inlet plenum.
6. I replaced the injectors with 650cc siemens and a new fuel rail, so had to add new sard fuel reg. Fitted the R33/S15 grommets in the plenum for the injectors. approx $12 from nissan and keep the 14mm O ring as well as that makes the seal.
7. Made a 10/12mm adaptor plate for the throttle body as the greddy style adaptor is too long and stopped me using 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 90deg reducing bend. I did not want to relocate battery and cut a bigger hole thru inner skirt
I would prefer not to dump the gas as it was replaced no that long ago.
I have done this before on my R33, took 3-4 hours to remove and replace dash
Just got another price for $195 del.
The heater core in my car has let go. Now have the fun of removing the dash.
I have cross referenced the core with other cars. The core size is 150x193x25mm
Matching cars are
Z32 300zx, R32/R33/R34, N14 pulsar, GQ patrol
Plus
Mitsubishi Lancer 92-04 and triton 92-06
You can get Magna replacement for under $100 brand new but they are a little bit thicker
Size 150x193x33mm
So has anyone got a heater box out of the car lying around they could measure and see if the thicker 33mm core will fit.
Otherwise I will have to wait until I can get mine out to check and go from there
To buy the correct size one to suit the stagea had a couple of current prices for example
New nissan $420 trade ex japan
Aftermarket alloy $240 upwards
Aftremarket full copper $315 upwards
Or US ebay Z32 300zx alloy $220 del.
Ignore the offsets of that sydneykid has quoted. His car is a auto which has a 50mm wider rear cradlle in it than your 260rs.
If you were to run the wheels you listed 19x9.5 +30 they will not fit in the rears as they will hit the struts.
If you want to keep your wheels inside the rear guards with minimal rear camber go no wider than 9.5 with around +12 offset
Some people on here have different ideas (MIKE and myself for example) to what fits and what they think looks good etc. so you will not get a exact answer to what fits
Let us know how you want the rims to sit, what camber you want to run, ride height and tyre size and then we can give you a better idea as to what "fits"
