That relates to using a VL block All R31 blocks have them I need to get one as well. I have Rb26 head already Is your car painted yet??
-
If you want to sell yours. . . not much If you want to buy mine. . . . Alot Yours is RWD right? Then you should get anywhere from $1500-2500 depending what you include with it Mine is AWD, so different block and sump is different, so limited market, either another stagea or a gts4 skyline.

My R34 Gtr Front End Stagea Build Thread
darrinspencer replied to darrinspencer's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I order them direct from Masa in Japan. If you are in OZ, I organised copies to be made. Contact CCubed in Sydney for them, they own the moulds. Aprrox 600-650 pair Do not buy any of the cheap copies of ebay extra What other Masa parts have you found, as most of the other bits need are genuine R34 gtr Since my thread has been bumped, a bit of an update Currently working on the car every night tring to get it finished for a drag day on the 29th May I have a list of over 20-25 items still need to be done, some alot bigger then others. Hopefully get the final engine work done this week, modify exhaust and fmic piping next week and then on the dyno the following week. Plus supsension and brake work as well. No pic's, you will have to wait until it is all done -
Can be done, but you can stuff up pretty easy. You need to pull off the needles I wrecked 2 R33 ones mucking around You could ask an instrument repairer to do it. Should not cost too much

Had a bit of goodgle around Ultra racing make them. approx $250au for a 3 point R34 It mentions they can be modified to fit R33 My guess they would either fit or need minor mods to fit the stagea as the AWD front end is pretty much R34/R33 suspension geometry hanec the chassis to be similar. http://www.ultraracingaustralia.com/page18.htm I bit of more info here how it works http://www.streettuned.com.au/index.php?_a...;productId=1717

For a street driven car, you cannot go past the Nistune for value and performance. I have asked this question to a few very experienced people on here who have used them ALL They have all said nistune. I previously had a power fc in mine, but sold it a long time ago. Now have a nistune and will be on the dyno in 2 weeks time chasing 300rwks or roughly 480-500hp at the engine. The max I have heard on here is 650hp with a nistune. There seems to be no real limit for a street car. Generally with the new stand alone ecu's, you are paying for alot of features you will never ever use. Had a motec on a previous car. The biggest waste of $4k.

I have a new set of Seimens deka coming this week 650cc Hugh, it is well worth getting them done. Side feed injectors like you have can be a bit harder to do due to mounting them in the machine apparently. I had a mobile guy do my R33 4 years ago for $150 with them already out of the car. They should replace the o rings hence the cost of getting them done. My R33 had 2 out of the 6 injectors 10% down in flow prior to being cleaned. So when people say the factory 370cc injectors can handle "X" power they are assuming all 6 injectors are flowing the same. If 1 or 2 injectors are down 10% that is enough to run to lean on those cylinders. Goodby engine. Don't buy new bigger injectors unless you have a new ECU to be able to run them.

Can not really answer your question, but R34 stuff seems to be more of a match on other things

Just got an email about the South African police getting special built GTR's A cut and paste. Not sure if this is a repost "Motorists who jump red lights, break the speed limit and generally drive with reckless abandon are in for a rude shock if they misbehave over the Easter long weekend and beyond. The Johannesburg and Tshwane law enforcement departments, in a unique joint venture, have acquired six very special police cars. NISMO tuned for silly performance The new Nissan GT-R Terminator is arguably the fastest police car in the world. Developed in close cooperation with NISMO, the GT-R Terminator outpaces even Nissan's own SpecV car by boosting its 3.8l V6 turbo to 440kW (compared with the stock car's 357kW) and capable of 0 to 100 km/h time in under 3.5 seconds. There’s plenty of power to catch the most well-equipped bandit. The purpose-built all-wheel-drive police car has been specially adapted for the rigours of police work in modern day Gauteng and to match the high-tech and high-speed cars available today that are setting new standards in speeding and irresponsible driving. It was developed in conjunction with law enforcement professionals. Nissan South Africa also hosted top ranking law enforcement officials at the Nissan plant in Japan to oversee the bespoke construction process, where all GT-Rs are hand built by specialist technicians. GT-R Terminator engines are hand-built by expert technicians at NISMO headquarters in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo. Cabin trimmed and weapon specced The interior has been substantially redesigned to meet police needs, including more cup holders and compartments for Glocks and hand-cuffs. A lot of trim and the usual luxury features found in a standard Nissan GT-R have been stripped out to reduce the Terminator’s weight by 200kg to a club-sportesque 1 550kg. According to a spokesperson for the Joburg law enforcement department, the new Nissan Terminators will enable law enforcement officers to patrol the new roads being built around Gauteng and protect the law-abiding motorists from the rash actions of “these animals who threaten our safety every day. "There are some very fast cars out there," he said "and it takes an even faster car to catch them. Now we have the faster car, they must beware. They will be locked up when we catch them and we’ll throw the keys away." Only a limited number of police officers will be assigned to the new vehicles and they underwent various precision driving courses presented by the Nissan precision driving academy. Interest is being shown in the new South African police car from law enforcement agencies around the world, with law enforcement departments in the United States already cancelling orders for the recently announced Ford Police Interceptor."

Hicas Lock Bar Too Short?
darrinspencer replied to darrinspencer's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Will also have to move the mounting brackets 10mm each aswell to do it that way Instead, I will extend each end by machining up a new tapped end and weld it in. -

What Seats Fit In A S1 Rs4?
darrinspencer replied to Race__24's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
R34 RWD is the odd one out. All the rest are interchangable with no mods As previously mentioned, any skyline seat in a stagea sits a fair bit lower.
