  1. Try Dan at Elite at yatala for the install. Actually clutch rebuild if not getting a new one try Jim Berry at Raceclutch or try NPC
  2. It is the minor little things that will hold you up Flywheel bolts, they are different to the auto flex plate Need a few longer bolts between the gearbox and engine. If using the Stagea handbrake lever, good as they are different to the skyline ones. Remove the mounting bracket that is welded to the 260RS shell and either reweld or put thru 4 bolts and larger washers thru tailshaft tunnel. If you are going to use the 206Rs clutch booster you will need to cut a larger hole thru firewall and recess the booster. Not a easy task. I used a r34 GTT master without booster, same as a RS4 S but you will need a different bracket and possibily pedal. Don't forget you will need to join 2 wires behind the RH head light otherwise the car will not start. If you do get a center console the g sensor and other relays get in the way of cup holders. You can fit the handbrake, clutch master and pedals and do the wiring mod prior to go to the shop for the gearbox change. Saves time and keeps car mobile. Gearbox weight approx 90kgs!! It sucks even with a hoist and gearbox lifter.
  3. Post up a full list of parts you already have and see if I can help with anything missing etc. All RB flywheels are the same. What handbrake? What clutch pedal set up? What brake pedal? Etc Thought about changing the rear main crank seal will the box is out. Can also go the front gearbox seal I think
  4. Correction, they are 10mm, not 12mm. Just measured them
  5. The factory ones are 12x1.5 in the end that screws into the manifold and the other end is 12x1.25 thru the turbo so that the finer pitch pulls the turbo up tight. Or it could be 12x1.25 and 12x1.0. Can't remember. If you are just replacing the factory ones, best grab the genuine ones. Are you fitting the larger turbo and spacer plate you mentioned to me? I could only find one place that sold longer manifold studs and that was GCG turbo in Sydney. They look like they could be custom made Just be ready to bend over and take it
  6. I saw a place on ebay in Sydney last week that recalibrate your standard ones to the nismo spec's approx $150 each or pair, canot remember
  7. The one I have is complete, except for no mirror. Yours free if you pickup from Victoria Point or $20 posted.
  8. There is a push to pull conversion kit available, I think OS Gekin make it approx $600, not worth it Or you can fit a early r32 GTR bell housing, turn the slave cylinder around and mod the clutch line, not worth it Buy the right clutch kit.
  9. 1989-1993 GTR push 1994 R32, R33 GTR, R34 GTR, R34 GTT pull type Pull type costs twice as much as push
  10. I have the body, no mirror and I think the motor plays up not sure in brisbane Any use to you?
  11. I have not read this whole thread, but I will. On Rb engines there is a spigot bush in the end back end of the crank shaft. When you conevrt from auto to manual you need to remove and replace the bush with the manual size one. They are just a brass bush, any machine shop could make one if needed. Don't the SR boys cut and weld 2 bell housing together when they fit r33 Rb25 manual boxes to their SR20's?
  12. If done correctly, there is no reason not have a reo bar. It should have. There again, it was built by Viva If you use the R34 GTR genuine reo bar ($1000-1200 new approx) it pretty much bolts directly onto the stagea chassis rails and has plenty of room for a FMIC. My car is fully insured and listed with the front end conversion. The only f/glass in the front end is the front guards. Techinally they are not adr approved, but it is possible. MIKE, unless the R34 support is used, you have to trim the stagea support to fit the headlights Hey Mitch, don't sell it too soon, hopefully catch up with you before xmas for a few photo's I have decided my car is no good now for a tow vehicle as well, can not see me leaving it at the boat ramp in the dark hours. Just ordered a new Kluger for the job. Have a 3 week road trip in Jan with jayco camper.
  13. Save your $80-90 for a new GTR bonnet latch. The only difference between the R34 GTT and GTR latch is the length of the release lever, the one you push with your finger to lift the bonnet up. You need to cut it and reweld it approx 10-15mm shorter
  14. Does anyone know if the block is the same a as Neo stagea rb25 If it is the same I would be interested
  15. 9.5 +12 will only fit on factory manual stagea, as the rear cradle is 50mm narrower. My new rays GT-c's 19x9.5 +12 arrived on Friday. Just need to get tyres fitted this week 245/35/19's
  16. Yep, better support alond with different cloth. Similar to R34 GTT. PM RB26STAGEA (Micah) pretty sure he has a spare manual series 2 interior
  17. Hope they do not charge you too much. I estimate a good 30 hours in fitting and modifiying my viva rear bar. Lucky my time is free
  18. Sounds like the easiest way is to use the stagea awd rb25 There is a turbo one on ebay for sale for a while for $1150. They do not get much cheaper than that.
  19. Interesteing to hear about the fitment of the Masa stuff. I found the same thing with the GTR conversion guards. The quailty of the f/glass work is great, the best I have seen. As for fitment I had to fill the gap between the bonnet and guards as they were too big and a few pin holes. 100 million times better than the copy stuff form Viva. Will be great to see it once your car is finished.
  20. I agree, best cancel this one and have one in the new year in Feb after school hoildays. Now that it getting into silly season, everyone gets too busy as well.
  21. Don't do half that crap listed above. I can not believe someone wasted their time typing all that out.
  22. I have a series 1 stagea one. Came out of RB26stagea (Micah) car Has some wear and marks on it $120 delivered complete
  23. I just looked under the back of my car. It is/was a factory auto series 2 but it has the 6x1 bolt pattern on the diff output shafts and has the same diameter shafts as the the new manual cradle and diff I have sitting waiting to go in. Did a quick measure of the rear RH driveshaft lengths and the auto was 25mm longer which makes sense due to the wider track. So does that mean my car may have come from factory with a LSD the same as a RS4 or 260rs? Will FAST tell me?
  24. Sure will. I think the only difference is to change the head light plugs to suit. It was Alexcim that did that conversion. He used my old front end. Exactly the same as this one for sale, but he paid a few grand for it Someone should really buy that ebay stuff, it is way too cheap not to keep it. Hmmmm. . .
