  1. Just thinking out loud here. The idea is to fit a VQ25DET into a C34 Why? Something different Prefer to run as manual RWD. Easier to do engine and gearbox driveline conversion Target 250-300rwkw......can they make this much I need to do some reading up on Vq25det mods etc. I have 10 years Rb experience....no VQ25 knowledge Main issues to work out 1. Pretty sure it will fit in between strut towers. Engine mounts to fab 2. ECU wiring issues....Do people have VQ25det wiring diagrams they can flick a copy to me? Should I go stand alone ecu and be able to tune it than work with factory VQ ECU? 3. What manual RWD gear box and clutch etc.....All 350Z, V35 skyline stuff? Any cheap gearbox options, but as strong? 4. Basic connection problems of water, intercooler, exhaust, intake etc.

  3. Maybe looking for a very cheap C34 stagea Not concerned about condition Must be cheap Have seen them go from between $1500 to $4000 with some issues or damage or no engine over the years Prefer Queensland If you see something let me know

Firstly I have SOLD my car..........so this is the end to my build....sadly The new owner is a regular on here and not new to Stagea's, so you will still see it around For the front end conversion.....insurance job or your are you paying?? I spent approx $5K in parts when I did mine some 4 years ago with zenon headlights Not including labor and painting Part list I used genuine Masa guards from Japan, not copies, perfect fit.....cost me $1100 at the time There is front bar with complete front reo on ebay at Rohlin imports...they have listed as a GTT because it was fitted to one when they removed it But it is actually a GTR They have it for $550....I paid closer to $2K for mine complete at the time s/hand and had to get it from Japan They will sell it for $450 cash pickup (bargin)....I was going to buy it for a new R34 front Stagea ute project
  6. Finally got around to painting and fitting mine yesterday........only took me 2 1/2 years to sort it Its now ready for new owner of my car.....hopefully it gets picked up tomorrow...no more Stagea for me...

  8. below $450 del.....will have to recover smaple cost etc. When I have R33 kits they are below $300 Core works fine....I have 450hp thru mine SAU store coming in a couple of months

  11. I suggest you PM Rb26stagea (Micah) and ask him were the set he bought from Japan the Takero's ones.... If they are the same ones he bought, they were crap and unusable I then organised a group buy and had Micah's ones reworked and moulded in Sydney.........they ended up crap as well at great expense

I might be looking at a new project car which needs a few bits Basically will need a full front end I have front guards already Suit a Series 2 WGNC34 Mainly need -Bare front cut or RHS Skirt and Rad support. Needs to be AWD version, not RWD. -Bonnet -Full set headlights and grille -Main fuse box and wiring harness behind battery on RHS Let me know what you have lying around Must be Cheap, as most will be temporary used for rego purposes only.

Will get it up today.....flat out with work unloading 20ft conatiner Start will be 10.00am Coomera BP and second meet point will be Nudgee Sheel on Gateway at 11.00am........and then head north....Finish Wynnum. approx 1.00pm for pub lunch and chat.....   19. You have the easy bit done. Are you going to remove the factory strips to modify them or do it on the car? Just a heads up, the factory strips are double sided taped the entire length along the outside of the car The inside entire length clips into a nylon strip that is double sided taped onto the roof It is very hard to remove the factory strip without bending them. So take your time How do you plan to modify them? They are stainless steel coated in rubber/plastic.

  21. KU 31's 245/35/19 $220 fitted from Tyre zone Brisbane....I have gone thru 4-5 sets on my car.....very good grip in dry or wet and quiet. Only problem I get approx 8-9000km out of a set if lucky.
  22. Bugger I just threw out 3 weeks ago a complete series 2 auto rear cradle complete with diff etc. Tail shaft centre bearing....just had my tail shaft rebuilt, centre bearing and boot, rear uni replaced and balanced...$750
  23. Sounds all to familair.....I have done 2 trips to the drags and done 2 clutches.....both were built by Race clutch The 2nd one I killed actually had its last day on the street. It fused the carbonic clutch plate to the flywheel and would not dis-engage. 4200lb single plate I have just had a complete new clutch and billet flywheel installed. The factory flywheel was in bad shape with a blue heat ring around around the face where the linings ran. Clutch is a NPC this time. Will see how long it lasts...
