  1. Nothing like some pressure!! Will be ready by the end of August for the VW Jamboree, so maybe early September for a meet??
  2. Not enough I think I will go with the painted option
  3. I actually prefer the rails as to no rails. Blits on the gold coast have the job making up new replacement roof rails rb26stagea and greenghost started this off with them and have been waiting for over 4 months I have a dead line to have the car fully sorted by the end of August, so I can not wait.
  4. I have the ViVa Masa copy rear bar and side skirts. To put it politly, what a heap of shit! I spent approx 25-30hrs modifing the rear bar to fit. Cut it into 3 pieces, and extended it 20mm on both sides. Both side skirts were too short as well and had to be extended. Another 10 hours work Plus the there is hardly any fibreglass, mainly resin, so they are weak and heavy. Typical chinese made copy crap. Full of pin holes, bubbles and low and high spots. (Have I convinced you yet?) The Blits stuff is made here on the Gold Coast to alot higher standard and fitment. Not sure if they still have their moulds and make it themselves, or they did sell most of their moulds to DMD the Image. When I spoke with them last, they were telling me they got offered chinese made copy kits. They could buy front bars for $39 landed from china!! Gives an idea on the profit margin on cheap imported kits. They declined the offer as there is way too much time to get them to fit.
  5. I am closer to 40 than 30
  6. Most of you are aware I am in the middle of repainting my car in Ford Breeze and it will be time to start re assembling the car. Looking at doing the roof rails and other exterior trims like the B and C pillar panels, the trim on the hatch above the number plate and the wind/rain deflectors, they are starting to look a bit tired. I am considering going with a fake carbon look from Mad coatings on some of these items. If I do not go with the carbon look, I might try what Ford are currently doing with thier colour schemes on the FPV's and use a dark charcoal grey to do these trims and roof rails. Will the carbon look too fake or rice? It will not be cheap to do, I am dropping to talk to Mad coatings on Monday and get a price. My guess could be $400-600. http://www.mad-coatings.com/?page=gallery&...rod=carbonfiber The dark green stagea in this thread has painted the roof rails in matching body colour. Looks pretty good I think. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pi...amp;hl=uk%2A%2A
  7. With stat's like that, it's confirmed the C34 is more reliable than the M35 and a much better car. (let the fight begin)
  8. Japanese Motor Sport pricing GTS-4 box $450, R32 GTR box $500 or R33 GTR $650 http://www.japanesemotorsport.com.au/prod_specials/1 I would not play more than $50 for a s/hand clutch with unknown km's. You can a stock standard clutch for $200 plus Cross member not needed, waste $100 Tailshaft not needed another waste of $200 ECU, would only be good for a Neo series 2 stagea and not needed, auto ecu works fine, another waste of $250 Clutch pedal will not bolt in, NEED the stagea mounting bracket Handbrake will not bolt in with out mods and NEED stagea mounting bracket. So what you have left that can actually be used is Box $450 Clutch $50-100 pedals, s/hand master and slave $250 max Flywheel and bolts $50-100 So max total of $800-900 I have done my research!
  9. Pm sent yesterday Consider them sold Waiting for your reply
  10. Having done the R34 front to my car I would be very careful buying one already done before compliance There are few different ways to modify the radiator support. From what I have seen, the Masa converted cars replace the top section of the radiator support and cut/enlarge the head lights opening in the support. This may upset the compliance shop. Do some more research and check with the shop. Hopefully it will all go well and we will not be reading a thread, "My car failed compliance, now what"
  11. Nearly all of those features I would not need or use. . . . already have a z32 and ebc. Do not get get me wrong, I will be more than happy to hand over the extra $1000 if there is going to be a real noticable benefit.
  12. How much is big big power? It would be safe to say 90% of users on here have stock motor internals so there max power goals are going up to be a approx max of 280-300rwkw. Will the Vipec or any other full stand alone ecu have a noticable difference over the Nistune for these power levels? The Vipec has a long list of extra features, but will they be used or needed for a daily driven street car? Can some list what these great extra features any stand alone ecu have over the Nistune to justify the extra exspense? ps. I have done a fair bit of searching on here about the pro's and cons of either ecu option. Generally everyone says one is better than the other, but do no state why to back their claims. There is one very well respected tuner on here from Melbourne that tunes more than one brand and agrees the Nistune is the best option for a Neo rb25 for the street)
  13. This is far from a stagea manual conversion kit. Plus it is only the lighter gtst box, not a gtr box, worth no more than $400-500 People do your research before considering buying this. Sorry for the post, but the title is very misleading.

  15. I bought a 1 litre a while ago for a series 2 to respray the engine bay. Only used half of it. No longer need it, but I am in Brisbane Just the 2 pac base coat alone was just over a $100/litre in a good brand Any car paint supplies should be able to mix it up. According to Glasurit paints there is one version from 1996-2002 http://www.glasurit.com/COLOR/new-color-on....php?language=1
  16. It is a hard colour to photogragh. I took them at night under lights. Needs to be seen in the sun light 15 years ago I had a TA22 celica show car painted in a similar Ford Everglad from the EB falcon with gold simmons B45's. It appeared in 3 different mags and the colour looked crap compared to real life. All 3 photo shoots were done either early morning or late avro with near no sun light.
  17. I have the same Jim Berry clutch in mine. Was built for 300rwkw. It does not like 4-5000rpm launches. It slips and smells a bit, but does smoke all four I think with flywheel machining and a few bits I was missing was around $850. You do have to supply your old clutch for him to rebuild it. Just remember they are "pull" type and cost more than push type.
  18. Looks good What size spacers are you running on the front to fill the R34 guards out? 20 or 25mm? Also looks like you have flared the rear guards as well? My car would have looked very similar if I decided to stay with the factory silver Can you provide a close up pic the the bonnet hinge mounts. I need to re fab mine.
  19. Can't wait for a cruise when it is finished Currently trying to get it finished for the VW Jamboree on the last weekend of August If the weather is good over next few weekends, it will be all painted ready re assembly Hopefully get the new turbo on and sorted before the Jamboree as well. That's the plan. Myles, who is doing the Nistune tuning?
  20. I hope so, I started painting it yesterday morning Next step is to refit doors and hatch, prime front bar and a few other parts and then it will be ready for the the full respray I think the car will not be too stealth with this colour. I can hear the comments now. . .man that is a bright colour on that volvo.
  21. It will most likely go to the auctions and be sold for double the asking price. The poor buyer will probably not pick up the engine pulley damage
  22. A panel shop last week was quoted $3300 each from Nissan to fix a damaged r34 gtr It needed 3. No wonder the repair bill was over $30000 in spare parts alone. Pm sent about wheels
  23. Sydneykid is back online. Order thru him to get the right shocks I have been discussing new shocks with him last week
