The problem I have with bayside blue is it a factory colour and half of all nissan that get a custom respray use bayside blue. In Brisbane I have only seen 3 cars in the ford colour, a R32, 180sx (both with white wheels) and a XD falcon. All looked pretty good. Also looking at off loading the R34 gtr wheels for some Rays GT-C's in gold. Either 18's or 19's

The is car is 95% in undercoat. Next step is to colour the back of all the bolt on panels and the door jams. Need to decide on colour by this Saturday Choices Bayside Blue or Ford Breeze Help me decide!!!!!

Intersested in the whole car Does it still roll or partly drive to get it on and off a truck to Brisbane?

That is about 90% right. Will need to make bolt sleeves thru the front hubs and also need a small front barke line mod Rear bolt up fine. Front R34 calipers bolt straight on.

You need to have a read on NS.com.au Apparently the genuine Bride company in Japan (the only place the are made and badged made in japan) has lost their Bride name. The Taiwan company grabbed it and now badge thier seats as "bride" That is why in the ebay ad's it says "not made in Japan" I have not seen the Taiwan copies in person, they maybe great, they might not be either. I think someone said on NS it is covered on the genuine Bride web site about the fakes and they might be changing thier name. Not sure how true all this is, but that is what I have read.

If you are going to buy the cheaper copy seats, at least buy the adr approved ones. The seats autobarn sell, saas, drift and isolata are trimmed in the same materail, so it is is probably safe to say they come out out the same factoryand are ADR approved. As with the JJR seats, they have been ADR tested. As for quality. I have bought in the past 2 seats of cheap seats. That is what you get. The materail does not wear well, support varies between brands I had a seat of drift D1 from autobarn, support was fairly good, but the materail started to come apart at the seams and wear marks after 4 weeks of use. If you want copies, there is a shop in Brisbane that sells full copies and branded and sold so, of brides, recaro's for approx $650-700 pair They look good at first, but when I had a look at the bride's the could see the material was not up to the quality. I spoke with a guy from Hong Kong. He said you can buy a pair of these seats for about $60US pair and can bodykits for example for, like front bars could be landed in Australia for $39 each. So you can see what sort of quality you are getting. Someone here is making pleny of money. I am in the market for some new seats again. I will be buying original Bride's or Recaro's this time around!!!

Have been speaking to sydneykid just this morning. The front is R33 GTR. Not sure about the rear (I picked up a whiteline r33 GTR front swaybar for just $1 of ebay )

As above, give it a hit. Also try and give the hub a bit of sand to remove the rust, that is what is stopping it from coming off

Thanks for the reply's. I use to have Garage Impul seats seats in mine with skyline rails and they were lower approx 30-40mm than stock seats. I am 5' 10" as well I have a spare set of stagea Bride rails, so tosing up between using them with new bride seats, either Euro II or Digo graduation cloth and retrimming the rears and doors to suit, or I also have a spare series 2 manual rear seat and door trims which are almost identical to R33 GTR cloth. Using GTR seats will be alot cheaper option, but the Brides will look good Was also looking at buying s/hand recaro's and retrimming them, but the trimmer wants aprrox $1000 just for the fronts. Might as well buy new ones. Nick, what is it costing to get the gtr seats done? What sort of cloth?

I want to know HOW much lower do you sit with GTR seats Hard to see over the bonnet?

I have 34 gtr vspec lower diffuser, fibreglass copy. Not sure how long it will last thuo.

Only the fronts wheels will be +5, the rears will stay at +30. Have been looking at new volk GTC's in 18 or 19's. Would be able to order different offsets and get max front dish/rim because should not have too much caliper clearance issues. Mike, do you the difference between face 1 and 2. one is for high caliper clearance Price back for bilsteins. Shocks only with extra groves $1265 set. Still would need springs to suit.

That is the answer I wanted and the look. Thanks Correct me if I am wrong, I believe you have Tein HA's in your car? How much clearance between the lower platform and the wheel? I do not think I will have clearance issue's as I need to fit 25mm spacers to the r34 GTR wheels (to make them 18x9 +5) to fill out the GTR front end. It will also make the front end track the same as the rear. What are the new shocks? Price? Pm me if you want. I have a call into Bilstein for availaiblty and details.

So you are on the lowest setting on the bilsteins? But what height/length are the teins. Are they lowered or standard height? Bit hard to compare. The lowest setting on the bilsteins might be low enough for me, but until you quote the ride height measurement, it is a bit hard to compare. Not really tring to make the car useless, just trying to fill out the guards. In sydneykid's group buy, he was setting the car the at 350mm. I believe mine sits higher than that, but I have ran out of adjustment to lower it further, hence the need for asked info. What shocks and what measurement are people using?

Tein suggest only 25mm drop with these shocks It would problably be not worth modifing them, cost too much, plus they are almost new. Less than 5000k's Plus the shocks will not like the lower/reduced travel.
