  5. I need a pair of R34 GTR headlights repaired and the front bar needs 6 drill holes welded up as well. Do you come to Brisbane because the head lights will need to be done in the car. Broken/missing mounts needs new ones and holes patched. Pm me if you will come to my place Thanks

Generally any Gt3076R IW with a turbine housing smaller than the .82 have had boost creep problems The GCG kit is the garret built turbo and comes with new lines, dump pipe and manifold spacer and bolts. Just need to fab the front inlet pipe. GCG does not have the kit on their site. Tweakit do the same kit for $2460 but does not include the dump. They are $325 in S/S or $225 in mild. Gt3076r are sold without the rear housing for approx $1100-1300 and then you can had the rear IW garrett housing for $ rrp $780 or less. The ext WG housings are a bit cheaper. Be careful, there are different types of the GT3076R. The "real" one is the 700382-12 or 700382-5012 with a CHRA 700177-7 and a .60ar compressor housing with 4 inch anti surge inlet.

If you have a look thru the forced induction section you will find many have boost creep problems with anything smaller than the .82 exhaust housing using the Gt3076R internal waste gate version. You can buy the "real" gt3076R .82 IW in kit form for $3070 from GCG. Does not include the compressor inlet pipe. I paided $1800 for the turbo. For all the extra bits need will be another $700-800
  8. EFI Performance. They are at Yatala or Nerang I might be going down this track. Approx $300 plus tune $500. Opposed to the Vipec for $2600 installed and tuned
  9. R33's have 2 types of CAS as well. The very late R33, I think mid 1997 onwards had the R34 style CAS. Alot of people get caught buying Tomie Poncams for their 1995,1996 series 2 R33's and order what Tomie call series 2 cams, which only fit the 1997 onwards engines. When they caome to fit the cams,they find out the CAS is different. At a guess, the series 1 stagea's may vary as well depending on what year your car is. Pay to check before ordering new cams. If you want 350-400hp atw, go the Gt3076 .82 IW. Mine arrived yesterday. Most guys are getting around 270rwkw at 16psi and upto 330rwkw on high boost.

  11. I have currently have a s/steel xforce bell mouth in my series 2. It will be ready to be removed in 5-6 weeks Done 500k's. Cost me $350 from UAS Sell $175 plus freight Much better built than some off the cheaper pipes around You need to watch the twists in some of the flanges!!

I have finally managed to track one of these real Gt3076R's down 700382-12 or 700382-5012 For peoples reference GCG $2195 available around the 9th June MTQ qld $2066 available around August Slide $1775 in stock but is not the anti surge compressor inlet. (Not the real gt3076) Capa $1375 with no rear housing. No stock. Rear IW .82 housing ATP delivered $620 or Garret Aust for $680-780 Another Brisbane supplier who I have order thru. Getting assemble tomorrow $1800 Once they have supplied me the correct turbo I will let you know who they are. They have great pricing online compared to others. All plus actuator and bracket $150-180.

  15. I want it to stand out but at the same time I do not want it to look like a autosalon style show car. It will be daily driven. I did have those mags but I sold them I do like the the Ford breeze colour on the new Fg falcon. It will go well with the R34 wheels and the planned carbon parts. My car will look exactly the same as the bayside blue one above with 34 wheels, vspec lip, ganador mirrors and Masa side skirts as I have the same parts.
  16. It was time to attack the rust in the 2 front doors. I had a panel beater mate do the cutting and weleding and I did the the filling Both these doors were showing no signs of rust when the mirrors were fitted. Just shows how it can get away. I suggest people remove their mirrors and have a close look All 4 door and hatch now ready for undercoat, just need the weather to fine up to spray them. I think I have picked a colour as well.
  17. Just spoke to a supplier and they have stock of the t3 IW .82 rear housings. The supply problem is with the actual turbo. They are on back order. Waiting for them to call back when they will be available. Otherwise I will give up on the aussie guys and go to Atpturbo. The extra long manifold studs needed for the spacer plate are hard to find as well. Can mild steel studs 65mm long, but no hi tensile ones.

  19. Also a site sponsor on here has told me the gt3076r does not come with anti surge inlet on the compressor any more. It now comes with a standard 4 inch smooth bell mouth inlet
  20. I have been tring to track down one of these 700382-12 Gt3076 for the last 3 days. Everyone is saying there is no stock of the rear.82 5 bolt IW housings. Some have said there should be in the next 3-4 weeks, others have said some time in August
  21. 99.9% sure it has The seller had a "spare" damaged 1996 stagea with compliance plate and vin numbers. He suggested to me that he might use them. He also had a 99 stagea that looks like a autech, apart from having twin sunroofs. The "autech" sat around since 2003 un complied. Back then you could import whole cars for parts with approval That is probably how it came into the country. Magically the spare 1996 numbers have appeared in the 99 car. Now the car can be registered. I would be having a very close look at the vin number where it is welded into the fire wall to see if it has changed. I bet it has. That is why I said seek legal advise!!! Only probably you might loose your car and be out of pocket if you take it further. If you do like this post, ask the mods to delete it.
  22. I am finding it hard to find these studs in this LENGTH It is to suit a Rb25det with larger turbo. Need to fit a spacer plate approx 15-20mm thick Anyone know who sells these. A good turbo shop in sydney have them at $70 for 4 studs They are worth about $2.50 each if you buy a box of 100!. Any help would be great.
