  1. They where 51000 yen, looks like the price has gone up Mine cost me approx $570 You only need 1 set of spacers 1000yen not 3000, thay go on the bolts for the fuel rail because the injectors are approx 8mm longer
  2. At a guess you will be the first RWd owner on SAU to convert to manual, so you may or may not have some hurdles No need to use GTR parts ie clutch pedal, that is only if you want to run a booster assit clutch which is not needed. Just use a standard stagea s2 manual/R34 GTT master. Should be able to keep traction control, would be the same as a r34 GTT conversion from auto to manual. Parts list Stagea S S2(factory manual) complete clutch pedal and bracket, will need to buy new. $200-250 Stagea S S2 or R34 GTT master cylinder, new or s/hand $30-110 R33 gtst or gtr brake pedal and bracket, s/hand $30-40 Stagea 2 s2 handbrake lever, new from nissan or modifiy a r33/R34 lever, need to bend mounting feet $50-150 Handbrake level mounting bracket, new $50 R33 GTST or R34 GTT rwd manual gearbox, note R33 has cheaper push clutch, R34 has dearer pull clutch $1000-1500 New complete clutch kit $300-1000 Any s/hand RB flywheel, get it machined $50 New flywheel bolts $30 Manual spigot bearing $10 A few new longer bolts between the engine and gearbox $5 Clutch slave cylinder, new or s/hand $100 clutch line, easy to a new custom braided line $90 Rubber boot fits around gear stick hole $10 Manual centre console, new from nissan $800 Gear knob $5-100 Extend foot brake light wire to new handbrake, hook up reverse light wires to g/box, disenable auto g/box inhibitor, hook up electronic speed drive Will need to check gearbox lengths for tail shaft length, g/box output spline to tail shaft size Best to buy all the new genuine parts thru www.japanparts.com Will work out cheaper than nissan aust. But you will need to know the parts numbers to order. I think that is it off the top of my head
  3. You can get new Blitz 525cc from Greenline for under $600 brand new I have these in my car and work well. Just make sure you order the 6 injectors, fuel rail spacers and right o rings to suit the Rb25neo.
  4. Hopefully the top pipe does point straight at/hit the LH front bumper reo mount
  5. Direct bolt in
  6. I have a Fujitsubo Legalis R on my rb25 Either 88db or 89db can not remember I found the quieter HKS and Trust exhausts are rated at 92db, basically the ones with a larger centre muffler and rear Check out the manufactures web site, most list the db rating
  7. Were you actually present or did the chicks "really" like each other
  8. Some yanks think the donut king car is in Japan http://www.jspecconnect.com/index.php?opti...18&catid=22
  9. The best way to learn how something mechanical works, is to pull it apart. Remember when you use to play with lego. You would build something, then pull it apart and put it back together again. Did a seacrh on J connect spec, the sticker on the rear of the black car The cars have been imported for aftermarket parts development http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/16/j-spec-...-rs-in-the-usa/ http://blogs.cobbtuning.com/?p=194
  10. Will be keen for Willowbank I have not entered a car since I won best coupe back in 1993 (know I sound old)

Head north along M1 over gateway bridge ($2.60) and next stop will be the Shell sevro at Nudgee. Arrive 9.30 Leave Nudgee at 9.45 and head along gateway north to Caboolture BP sevro at 10.30 for the last stop before the finish Leave Caboolture at 10.45 and head west along Daguilar Hwy to Kilcoy Beerwah rd, then along Peachester Bald Knob rd and finally along Landsborough Maleny rd to the Big kart track at approx 12.00pm for lunch and karts I have cut out Maleny as a stop/detour due time and distance http://www.bigkart.com.au/info.html Please PM me your contact details Bring your own helmet if you have one. 12. Maybe a drive north thru the sunsine coast/maleny/kicoy hinterland and finish at the big kart track for some fun and lunch Was 1 series 1 260rs there
  13. Prttey sure you could use the white face dials from a series 2. Would need to pull apart the series 1 & 2 cluster and swap the faces over. May also need to get this gone professionally as it is really easier the stuff it up. I distroyed 2 sets of R33 clusters trying to remove the needles and getting them to work right again.
  14. Yes they will, they have the same width and offset as 34 gtr wheels, just smaller diameter ie 17inch. Sydneykid- The R33 gtr rear craddle must be approx 20mm less in track than the RS cradle. The autech wheels have an offset of +20 on the rear and +30 on the front. Andy D- It is going to be hard/more expensive to get different offset wheels. You would have to buy big brand name wheels opposed to cheaper 1 piece cast wheels. I would consider buying the same offset front to rear so that you can rotate wheels easier and have a wider range to choose from. Then if you find you "need" to set the rears further out, 10mm each side, use a spacer. As Sydneykid said, the stagea has a 50mm wider track at the rear, you maynot need to space the wheels further out, esp if you choose 9 inch rims which will help fill the rears. use this wheel calculator to play around with offsets and widths http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
  15. Don't forget the pain in the arse Camry driver!!!
  16. My car is a awd neo stagea power fc, type B tomie cams, inj, etc 249hp at all four Was having boost issues drops back to 12.5psi need to get it sorted and run 17-18 Turbo only rated at 380ps, so it will not produse big numbers like some hiflows etc. Curently thinking about changing the turbo for more power, esp when the stagea weighs 1650kg's Has great midrange Some people have made 240-250rwkw's
  17. I run 15psi thru mine Have known some that ran 18psi with problems, but then they had some boost probs and hit 25psi and blow the turbo.
  18. Have a pair of non xenon's in my car now. Have been previously repaired Come and have a look, I am in Brisbane $600 pair Also have front factory orange indcators from front bar. $50 pair Also bonnet catch, hinges if needed
  19. Interested in front diffuser If you will seperate, PM me a price
  20. There was a new one with HC on NS a few days ago for $1250
  21. 550hp is the max hp from 550cc @ 100%cc, not at 80% Since you were quoting 335kw MAX, I calc'd 97% @ 307kw to be 316kw @ 100% MAX 335kw minus 316kw is 19kw A simple 19kw can be in difference dyno readings.
  22. 307kw @ 97% 316kw @ 100% 316kw is not too far from your calc 335kw, esp when the 550hp start figure is just a rule of thumb. A difference of just 19kw is what you are disagreeing over, which could just be a differnce in dyno's The ONLY way for sure to prove any of this is for SAM-r32 to flow test his injectors to know what he has Until then, WE can all only guess.
  23. To back my theory and a search as suggested, I quote from the guru Sydneykid Quote- Yep, but you can't run an engine with injectors at 100%, you need some overhead for acceleration enrichment and changing weather conditions. Around 80% is a good working maximum. My rule of thumb in a 6 cylinder engine is injector cc's = bhp 444cc's = 444 bhp divide by 1.34 for kw = 331 kw subtract 55 rwkw for 2wd losses = 276 rwkw or subtract 75rwkw for 4wd losses = 256 4wkw End of quote Sam-r32 is getting 307 4wkw!!!!
  24. I agree I was refering AWKW to engine KW. There is approx 60-70kw lost thru the drive train! Suggest you READ my previous post again.
