Gb: Gts-t / Gtt Silicone Inlet Pipe From Airbox To Turbo
darrinspencer replied to Bass Junky's topic in Group Buys
Ok, I fitted mine last night My car is a series 2 Stagea with a Neo Rb25det and factory airbox. I have a Apexi turbo, but it is a direct factory replacement, so everything should line up the same. I had to trim the BOV return line spigots approx 15-20mm and the outlet end onto the turbo approx 15mm to get things to line up. I trimmed the BOV return spigot to the minimum lenght to just enough to get the clamp on. I have not finish fitting the airbox/airflow meter yet, but had a quick trial fit. The inlet end will need trimming approx 15-25mm aswell. The extra length is easily trimmed with a sharp packing knife and gives the flexibilty of it fitting to all cars. Only took 10-15 minutes to trim and work out what was needed. Overall. I am very happy with the finished product Well done Bass, thanks. -
Justjap Split Dump Pipe
darrinspencer replied to darrinspencer's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I think your question is aimed at Rev210, but mine is a series 2 Neo. I got my JJR split dump pipe yesterday and tried to fit it last night. It did not fit. It hits the floor. The build quality is questionable. 1. The flange to turbo has 3 different twists in it and I dealt you would get a good seal to the turbo without using half a tube of sealant. 2. The main dump pipe does not line up with the hole in the turbo flange. when you look in the hole of the flange, the pipe is offset approx 3-4mm to one side. So the exhaust gases will hit this lip causing turbulence. 3. With the dump pipe miss aligned with the flange, one of the the bolt holes in the flanges has a weld too close to the hole, so the bolt will not sit flat. Apart from that, it looks really shiney! I will get it replaced with another one today and have to get it sent to Brisbane. Will then need to modifiy the length of the pipe to bring it down below the floor. Approx 20mm to get enough clearance. -

Justjap Split Dump Pipe
darrinspencer replied to darrinspencer's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Actually, I think that is the brand I have, it came from Adelaide aswell, but it is their old design. The waste gate pipe use to run down the other side of the dump pipe and foul the a/c line. Mine had the same splitter. which is great if you have the standard turbo. does not suit highflows or any aftermarket larger turbo like my apexi. Will have see if the justjap fits, otherwise it will be going back. Will know Monday night -
Justjap Split Dump Pipe
darrinspencer replied to darrinspencer's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I can measure the old factory exh cam on the weekend The only reason I used type B over type A is I got the cams s/hand of Yahoo. I dealt there would be much difference at high RPM and WOT using either dump pipe, but the split dump with long waste pipe (not like the short HKS type) is suppose to give better mid range. -
Anyone Cracked Their Windscreen?

Do you mean this switch on the left? This is the rear window demistor There is no front electrical demistor, that what your a/c heated air is for -

Justjap Split Dump Pipe
darrinspencer replied to darrinspencer's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Well I have a Apexi ax53b70 p25, tomie poncams type B, power fc and all they other bits needed So hopefully around 250-260 rwkw It is not all about max KW's The Apexi turbo, the poncams and the split dump pipe all give great mid range, and that is where it counts Spoke with Justjap today, they said most people get the R33 one and they fit, but they did have one customer say it did not. So I need some more confirmation from someone who has done it. -
I need to know if the Justjap split dump pipe fits the Stagea. I did a seacrh and one user said they did not fit the Stagea and had to return it for a store credit only I have a split dump now, not sure what brand (I bought it from another forum member a year ago), it is the version that has the full bit of pipe that protrudes into the rear of the turbo, opposed to the version that has the small divider like the Justjap one. The one I have have had a few problems. 1. The waste gate pipe runs down the chassis rail side of the dump pipe sits hard against the AC line which cannot be moved. 2. The dump pipe hits the floor. I cannot modify it because on the problem number 1 3. I have just had the dump modified to suit the Apexi turbo I have. The turbo is a direct factory replacement. But with it being a higher flowing turbo the dump pipe had to have the splitter pipe removed and the hole opened up and a new splitter welded on. So I need to buy/order a new split dump today so I can get it delivered and get the car on the road by the end of next week. The Justjap and I think the new Bosimporting design has the wastegate pipe switched over the dump pipe towards the engine, which avoids the A/C line I would prefer to buy the Justjap one if it fits as they are half the price, plus I have already spent $450 on one that does not fit.

Series 1 or 2 front bar? -
Has lowered suspension, you can see the gold struit tops in the engine bay, must likely some brand of coilovers (edit - just saw the coilover photo after I posted) Also has a alarm, can see the siren just in front of the brake booster All mods will need to be removed for compliance and stardard parts fitted. just check with compliance shop for cost of parts removal and re install and that have the stock parts you can borrow.

Buying Wheels Through Nengun
darrinspencer replied to Sol32's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I agree, tax evasion is illegal, not disputing that. But, wheels are sold price per wheel and are listed that way. So if you buy them one at a time and send them, you can not be breaking the law. That was my point. If you buy a twin turbo "kit" for a GTR and split the turbos and send seperatly, yes then you are breaking the law. -

Stagea Manual Conversion Guide
darrinspencer replied to tRUkbOY's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Does the series 1 have a hole at all to start with, or did you need to make the existing hole bigger? I removed my series 2 tiptronic selector last night and there was what looks like a big enough hole already for the manual gearbox. Also the 4 bolts holes that hold the selector in place line up with the manual rubber boot around the gearstick perfectly. -

If you plug in a Power FC (on a series 2) when you do the manual conversion, do you have to worry about earthing out the auto harness? I would think not?
