  1. I already have a s/hand one, but I was after a nice shiney new one
  2. Duncan Is that a brand new hand brake lever? If it is, is it a r33 or R34 one as the Stagea is no longer available thru Nissan $$$?
  3. You can buy new headlights from nissan approx $1100-1200 new pair S2 will not fit, bonnet and front bar different.
  4. The spline will Hicas???? There are different types of "clock springs" (the bit on the column behind the wheel with the yellow warning sticker) across the r33 models. They have a big letter on them to tell the difference like "H" is one type. I have been told if you have the wrong one the hicas can/will pay up.
  5. I have a set of series 2 stagea ones to go in my car, but have looked yet to see if the plug is there. My car is a series 2 already and is getting converted to a manual from auto. Series 2 Stagea $100 plus freight and fees, normally pop up on yahoo about every 2 months, a bit rare http://page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d75180869
  6. No they won't fit The airbag module plug is different and the series 1 wheel has an extra black box in the wheel behind the airbag. The series 2 module was be mounted under dash somewhere.
  7. Only real chance of getting the the front bar is a copy of Yahoo auctions Approx $200 plus $350-450 to get it here from Japan and wait 8-10 weeks If you want a Ms factory front bar I have one $200 will need repairs and painting
  8. Bass You have me down twice, R33 & R34 Only need 1 for a R34 GTT/Stagea series 2 in blue
  9. This car was one of the ones Skyline Imports did a few years ago and also featured in issue 49 of HPI Will be interesting if you get your $26K for a series 1
  10. This is the best answer so far You have listened to what I asked Not to loose factory comfort, but increase performance The car is remain as the "family 300kw wagon", not a noisey light weight race car As for cost, I have spent more than $20K in mods, so what is a few more dollars to make it better.
  11. Blue one to suit a R34 GTT (series 2 stagea) How soon? My turbo is of at the moment for the next 2-3 weeks
  12. Want to keep it stiil like a road car, ie keep interior and galss windows, also the kids will roll around the back to much with no rear seat.
  13. The worst thing about the Stagea is it is over weight. I have been thinking about putting it on a diet Basically if say a 100kg can be removed, if that is possible it would impove the power to weight ratio by about 10% on a 300kw at engine car Things I have already done are 1. 34 GTR front end with alloy bonnet and fibreglass guards much lighter than the steel ones 2. R34 GTT front rear brakes with alloy calipers, not sure if the wieght saved on the calipers gets out weighed by the extra disk size? 3. Manual conversion from tipronic auto? 4. 34 GTR 18x9 forged factory wheels, verse cheaper cast rims 17 or 18's 5. 3 inch s/steel exhaust with with split dump verse factory cast dump and steel exhaust 6. larger FMIC and alloy piping verse factory side mount and some steel piping? Other things I have thought of that will help are 1. 34 GTR front lower control arms are alloy and I think they will fit 2. Alloy body coilovers like the zeal ones. I had a set in my R33 and were much lighter than steel ones 3. Other alloy suspension arms and parts like caster and camber? 4. Are nismo suspension lighter aswell as being stronger? 5. Titanium exhaust 6. Alloy radiator verse the factory one? 7. No extra stereo bits like subs or amps 8. light weight front seats 9. Carbon parts? 10. Half a tank of fuel and no water in washer bottle. . just kidding Bascially want keep the car like factory, so no noise reduction by removing sound deadening etc and to stay relative legal ie no carbon panels etc. I assume some of this would have been covered before esp for race cars, but give me your thoughts and ideas

  17. http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=9979 Considering the replacement cost of the mods and lowish k's, this car is great value
  18. Midway is the s/steel supplier in Brisbane. May not sell short lenghts. 32872811 I just bougth 18m of 316 50mm mirror finish tube for $37.40/meter Or try Tube Sales 3287 2917, they sell by the meter
  19. Not really, it would cost more than $20K to mod a standard one to the same spec's
  20. Hey, where did you get the low skirt and lip Is it for a GTR or GTT I need the lower lip for my GTR front
  21. All depends what is broken. The key lock is connected to the door latch by a push rod. Each of the pushrod has a plastic clip. One of these could be broken. If it is, most cars are fairly generic, so you could one out another nissan. If the actually catch is broken then replace it with s/hand one. Shouldn't cost more than $20-30. Either way take the door trim off to get access. Not too hard
  22. One of the hardest thing I found to do was removing and refitting the smallest part, the saftey pin on the brake pedal to booster rod.
