Most of you know that I will be buying a Stagea very soon and doing the BNR34 GTR front conversion I have started to look for a car and will be trying to get one with most mods like wheels exhaust suspension and Bodykit I had 2 possible cars sent to me today that are available. Both have bodykits and depending on which car I will buy, not necessary one of these examples, I will not be using the front or possibly the side skirts and would be looking at selling them once the car arrives along with the wheels So if you are interested, Pm me your email address and when a car comes along that I like I will let you know what is available
  17. There was one for sale in the WA for sale section yesterday for $250
  18. I was going to, but it had no bottom lip which is had to get. They are about $1300 new from nissan I ended up buying a complete front bar with bottom lip and mesh and GTR badge of Yahoo auctions. Just need to wait for it to turn up in about 8-10 weeks. Cost is about $910. I could have got a fibreglass copy for half that, but I am sick off repairing them when they get a bump. I just finished repairing and painting my R33 front.

  22. Update Purchased a genuine R34 GTR front bar and lower lip with mesh and GTR badge on Yahoo auctions last night So I have all parts except the under bonnet parts like hinges and bonnet catch etc. Will buy these new from Nissan once I can fit up the panels to see what I need. I also bought a set of 34GTR factory 18x9 mags last night aswell from Yahoo auctions Just need to buy a Stagea now and some side skirts and rear bar.
  23. Ok I measured up a Stagea and a R34 2 door centre console You would need to cut the R34 console at the back of the gear stick surround and the same to the Stagea. Before cutting the Stagea one, you would need to check the mounting location of the R34 to suit the gear stick. Then trim the front half the Stagea console to fit. The R34 console is about 10mm less in width from the gearstick back. it is about 5-10 mm wider at the front where it meets the dash. Then you would need to do the same to the gear stick surround. A manual R34 gear stick surround and Stagea front. I would cut it across directly where the surround curves up under the ash tray. So I think with a bit of playing around it could work Once you are happy with it, then get it plastic welded. I used a guy in Brisbane once, that once he had welded up the cut in the dash, he then used this white plaste over the repaired cut, and then heated it and pressed a rubber pad that has the same texture as your dash. The finish result was great. He then colour matched the dash, painted the area where he repaired it and it was nearly impossible to tell It would alot of mucking around, but it would be better then spending over $2000 for the genuine item.
  24. I have been comparing a Stagea manual console with a R34 manual console They look very similar The rear half upto the back of the gear stick surround looks almost the same Drink holder and handbrake looks the same. Without measuring the two, the R34 looks a bit shorter under the gearstick surround where the console meets the dash May need to cut and join a bit in here, maybe by using the Stagea auto console May need to also cut across the gear stick surround just under the ash tray and lighter and join the Stagea front and r34 rear together. I am going to have a look at a Stagea and a R34 this afternoon to get some measurements. It might just work stagea_manual_console.bmp
