Just spoke to Suncorp with no luck They have never insured a Stagea before and will not The phone chick went and asked the insurance underwriters while I was on the phone They had no details about Stagea's, so I told them approx $24k for a series 2 when she asked Their reason for not considering it was it would be to costly to get parts

SKA, How much was your policy? I still thinking about buy a Stagea and would like to know My R33 gtst is thru Suncorp approx $700 a year full comp. But it is stock... I know Suncorp is trying to stay away from imports, but if you have other insurance policies, they will normally cover you I have 3 cars, a house and boat thru them.

What are the full parts required for the conversion Front guards- masa motorsports $75000 yen pair plus shipping etc say $1500 Bonnet- factory r34 GTR or carbon copy $1000 Head lights $500 pair s/hand Front bar- R34 GTR genuine $750-1000 s/hand Thats the obvious parts What else Bonnet hinges? Radiator support? $500? Bonnet catch? GTR? $150? Once fitted, does the front guards flare out wider than the factory Stagea guards? If yes, would you need wider offset wheels for it to look good? If the whole thing costs 5-6K plus paint and fitting, you can sell your old parts for upto 2k to offset the costs

I think a internal upgrade is needed aswell I heard of a twin turbo 350Z in Brisbane that blow up.

At that price I would buy a 350Z and not have the whole import car hassles i.e insurance Would be nice to have a CPV35 just to be different or buy a 2.5L for a much cheaper price and twin turbo it........runs off to check turbo kit prices.

It is on top of the engine, mounted on the side of the crossover inlet pipe Takes about 10 min to install. 2 bolts and 2 hose clamps.

In "stealth" mode the valve is full plumb back just like the factory valve. No extra noise than factory. When you adjust the top knob you can start to bleed air to atmo which makes the noise. When fully open, the plumb back is fully closed making the valve a atmo type which attracts plenty of attention or you can have a mixture of both to get the perfered sound you want with less nosie. You can also adjust the spring pressure to make a flutter sound. Hope that explains it. The reason I am selling it is because I removed all the aftermarket parts off my car to sell it.
