So its been about 2 months since I bought my first car which is an NA 1995 r33 gts coupe, So its about time I finally introduce myself. My name is Jonah and Im 17 from QLD. I recently got my P plates and purchased my first car which is an R33 GTS Coupe.
It looked a bit rough when I first bought it as the paint was disgusting and fading. The car is completely stock with a slow RB20E. Since owning the car I have fully repainted it the original colour and have also managed to get an RB25DET exemption for work but we will discuss that later on. Whilst it was getting painted I also had my mate who is a panel beater help me repair all of the dents in the car left from the previous owner.
Now the cars dents were repaired its off to get painted.
The finished results are amazing as the cars exterior looks pretty much brand new. Now onto my future plans. I have recently acquired an exemption for an rb25det skyline with help from one of my mates. And because of that im in the process of purchasing the new engine to put into the car. I have my mate who is a mechanic coming up early February to help me do the swap as he has done it himself twice now on his own skyline and on another persons. One other modification I will look to be doing in the near future is an auto to Manuel swap which I will most likely do at the same time as I swap the engine.
