if you got some headwork doen when you got the rebuild done it would make it spool quicker. By headwork im referring to a port and polish or bigger valves.

We hear this all the time. (my mates getting this car and i want to beat it) :lol: It depends on the MODS the Pulsar has. Ive seen a SSS pulsar eat an R33 for breakfast. The R33 had a FMIC, egzorst, and a hi flowed turbo from GCG running 15PSI. Mind you the pulsar was an absolute animal, was running around 20PSI+ boost. Find out waht mods your mate is gonna do. To be safe and really "smash" him id go for a full 3 inch egzorst, FMIC, more boost and even a bigger/hi flowed turbo. Hope this helps, let us know how you go mate!

www.gcg.com.au - These guys Hi flow turbos and have a list of prices on their website. A good upgrade for an RB20 would be the RB25 turbo (off an R33 or R34) and hiflow it. I think from memory they can push up to 22PSI, i might be wrong. If you upgrade your injectors you will need an aftermarket ECU, a good one that everybody uses is the Apexi PowerFC. If your gonna do that and run more boost you will prob have to upgrade your Air Flow Meter as well. a Z32 AFM is used most of the time. For 1/4 ile times, with a hiflow, FMIC, egzorst and Air filter you should be able to get to a low 14 at least! Mabye even a high to mid 13 if your lucky. Hope this helps mate!

doesnt matter if u have an aftermarket filter or not. they will see it and go to town on you if its ATMO BOV. I was givin a "formal warning" for my BOV and egzorst, which means you dont really have to get it cleared because i never got it cleared and they didnt cancel my rego or ask any questions when i registered my car again this year. On the form it said they may cancel my rego if i dont get it cleared, i took a chance and they didnt, but i wouldnt recomend taking chances. After i get my cooler im gonna get it and the egzorst engineered to make hassles easier with the boys in blue.

OK i see what you mean. They call them engineers certificates over here. But you cant get an ATMO BOV or unboxed pod "egineered" EPA sux ass!

In NSW they dont like POD's and ATMOS BOV's and im pretty sure its the same in VIC. Not sure about the rest of country. I never heard of permits dude, sorry.

A pod filter with no airbox/cold air partition is illegal. A pannel filter in the stock airbox is legal. Atmos BOV's are illegal because they vent engine gasses into the atmosphere i was told by one of the RTA dudes the defected me. Hope this helps

BAH! RB25 no way! If your gonna do the "llok alike" thingy, you need the RB30/25 Hybrid. Then people will really think its a GTR because it will have heaps of power and PWN people off the lights.

intercoolers flow both ways. if yours is the opposite, change it.

RB25 boxes are the same as a GTR box, but the dont have the transfer case for the AWD.
