Dyno chart from the 502kw pull. On a side not don't send your car to the tuner with 12mth old e85. It doesn't help. ?♂️ -

Basic 2.6 build. Cp pistons, eagle rods, arp 2000 headstuds. Tomei 260 9.15mm cams. I don't think the head has been touched. BW EFR 8474 with 1.05 t4 rear, 6boost twin 40mm gate manifold, Custom 4" exhaust twin. CPC 90mm Intercooler. E85, BM 1650cc inj, 2x Bosch 044s. Seeing 30psi at 5k. Map/Emap are very similar from 5k onwards. Inj are pretty much done at 85%. As for the dyno number I can't be sure as in whether it's harsh or happy, its a mainline 2wd setup strapped pretty tightly. -

I don't think the boost leak is huge. Emap is showing us that the rear housing /head cams aren't flowing enough to push anymore. Turbo is showing good potential at only 115k rpm we still have a bit of head room there. I'll post up a few screen shots of logs soon. -

Finally... I've got some good news. My gtr is tuned. Bit of a push but we managed to make 502kw at the rear wheels on 36psi with tb seals leaking. My head and cams are seeming to be the restriction. Going from the data. I haven't had a chance to drive it yet as I have a 4wd code that's come up since removing the abs. -

Hi Geoff, Quick question, reading on your website in regard to 84/92 variant efrs and it states not to use a oil restrictor as the turbo has one internally. Does that mean you wouldn't run a Turbosmart oil pressure reg either which are meant to supply a max of 40psi to the turbo from my understanding? -

This gets me excited in the pants. Just need the wiring guy to finish it off then it's off for a retune. -

My understanding is they're casting their own housings. That's the guy I purchased my turbo from when they were first released. In other news mines gone to the wiring guru to get the last of the wiring finished. After that it will be off to the tuner hopefully post some results in the coming weeks good or bad. -

Sneaky Pete, can I ask why you would run a 14psi spring with a 4port? my understanding the ability of the 4port allows you to run minimal spring (say 7psi) which in turn lowers your lowest boost pressure but the 4port gives ability to run boost to the top of the gate if u have a twin port iwg 75 that has that ability. This could help with the gate catching the spike. Maybe that your just too small on the rear but dropping the spring pressure imo would be my first thing to try. -

Lith have you seen that Garrett have released their new g turbos in mid frame. G30/35. Be interesting to see where they sit on your table of flow. -
Hi, I'm looking to add a pressure sensor to the Attessa system where it is plumbed into the rear of the assembly similar to the pic. Anyone either know where I could source one from or what the fitting size is? Ideally I'll set the sensor up remote mounted or the os88 will rattle the shit out of the sensor and break it pretty quick.

Cheers lith, Yea I've got a filter setup, the turboguard is just for a bit of show. I'I'amway for work next week and Ash at WTS isn't ready for it till after I get back to wire the e888, egts, and c125 up then it'll go for a tune after that. -

It's ALIVE. Still a fair way off anything meaningful but considering it's been off the road near 6mths I'm pretty happy. 20190516_172054.mp4 -

28psi of spring is a bad idea. I'm not sure what issues u had previous but if it were me I'd be running a 4port solenoid and 7psi spring in the iwg as long as u have a decent ECU to control it you should be fine. Only issue you may find is if your not monitoring egts and emap it may mask the turbo being out of efficiency and you'll be able to continue to add boost to a certain degree. Should be able to tell via boost vs hp gain though. -

Cheers lith, twin 044s so not the best setup but should be good for where I'm aiming. I've given the front housing a coat of black hi temp to see if i like it now. See how that goes in covering the casting imperfections. That bw in the pic u posted isn't a 9280? No black front wheel, unless they got to it before bw got it anodized. -

Wow what did i miss. Lol Anyway, slowly chipping away at the install. Dummy fitted the new 8474. Looks good, 1 thing that's annoying. Order 1k worth of fittings line etc and start making the lines, realize you still need another 300 worth of fittings you missed. Just my 2c On the quality of the 8474, purely external. wheels look awesome, rear housing is nice, front cover lets it down. Casting lumps, the maching and casting matching is not real flash. Ill throw up some more photos. -

No probs lith, nothing taken to heart here, you were on the money, the other reason why it was a touch fatter which I had forgotten until digging into inj was that the injectors had 8/9% variance. Just a couple of pretty switch on ppl and and a gumby (me) discussing things. That's interesting about the BM 1650 compared to the ID 1700. Will definitely be doing a bit more research about the injectors but after reading a bit more I'm leaning towards the Ids2000s but I may need to rob a bank to pay for them ? If you guys hear of any banks being robbed ot wasnt me ok ?. -

10% more power isn't going to be enough imo lith. I spoke to my tuner about it being a touch richer then most. He said that's where he runs them. I trust him and try not to question, more just understand. 1000 ways to skin a cat. I'll order some Bosch 2200/ID2000s and fit them before it goes back. Id prefer to not be maxed at injectors and keep everything happy. Burn, 125k rpm shaft speed. I like it. I'm still new to reading data so I may have a question once I get a chance to have a good look at your ss. -

Cheers Peter. Ok so u run them in the manifold itlself. Even my manifold is split so the pressure reading wpuld be only from 3 cyl. Yea I see most run an accumulator/filter setup to smooth the small pressure rises from the cycling/firing of each cylinder. And obviously filter to prevent exhaust soot clogging the sensor. -

Interesting burn. This was only showing 380hp but dynos ya know. Seat of pants dyno said it was making more... Will talk to Sean in regards to inj, might just change em early to prevent the mess around later. -

Nah they're bosch motorsport 1650s. I checked logs from the emtron and are seeing 76% @ 280kpa. We were leaning on the -5s pretty hard. -

Yea e85 and 1.05 split on the rear. Im guessing the boost may start with a 3. but Between the head, and the inj being at 65/70ish% duty with the -5s id say they may temporarily hold us back aswell. -

True Split pulse 6boost manifold with twin 40mm TS gates external and indvidual egt's. I fabbed my own 4" SS exhaust with a "Hi-flow" cat and 2 off Magnaflow mufflers along with all the 3" intercooler piping. Changed from a old 68mm PWR cooler to a CPC 90mm 600x300mm core. (was hard to bring myself to weld to the billet end tanks). Its a basic 2.6 build. eagle rods, CP pistons, actually i need to check when i get home if it has main studs and Head studs... lol fingers crossed. Im thinking the head is gonna be the big restriction. (tomei 260 9.15 cams) Edited as i forgot the gate info -

Hey Rice, (apologies Ive not caught your name) Considering my manifold is a true split pulse and the housing is also split pulse which side of the housing should i be drilling and tapping to take the emap reading from? Surely thered be a small difference between the smaller scroll and the larger scroll pressure wise when spooling the turbo?
