  5. Whoooohoooo Just got my new T1R's on. I got 235/45ZR17 all round but found out i could have gotten 255 on the rear. The d@ckheads who serviced the car previously (before i owned it) had rotated the tyres. They put the 17x8 on the front and the 17x7 on the rear, thought it felt like crap. Feels good so far but havent really tested them The guy also mentioned that i should get a camber kit as one side is 1.3 and the other 2. btw - Paying between 250-400 per tyres isn't exp to me, anything over that is though. Heard somone paid approx $800 per corner for pirelli 265/30's on 18 or 19 inch rims, no thats exp

  10. I need an upgrade to! On my old vl i just had bendix ult pads and braided lines, the car stopped on a dime. Then i put on cross X/slotted rotors which just improved it more. When can't you use DOT 5 fluid? When you have standard lines? is this correct?
  11. I got a price of $55 out at Penrith, of course thats no suspension mods. Dont know if they always charge that price but i am getting it done with 4 new Toyo T1R's YEAH BABY B) B)
  12. Yes, great mech. Like i said, got him to rebuild by RB30det when it blew, it was due for it. Was running 17PSI with stock internals apart from a cam with 235K's on the clock. one day while driving my gear box f#cked up and the car just reved out as the rev cut was not set on the microtech. Then came the smoke, HAHA. Got it rebuilt with tomei head gasket, arias pistons etc... mark now owns a couple of XR6's, one turbo putting out arround 3XXkw @RW Anyho....
  13. MRC @ castle hill, used to work at UAS to Had a VL with somthing like 430HP @ the wheels, rb30 with 25 head. Also rebuild my RB30DET putting out 330HP @ the wheels with a shitty auto box.
  14. spotted back 33 GTR (KINGTR) twice, once on sunnyholt rd Parklea, then coming back on quakers parkway. also gun metal grey or black 33 gtst @ richmond rd/quakers parkway round about. got a wave! B)
  15. Saw a white R33 gtst with silver/clear tail lights near Rooty hill RSL last night @ 6pm. Sounded like a rotor :lol: Also, decided to spot myself this morning on M4 @ 5:30, as no one else has B)

  22. thanks fastrotor, i ended up trying it on sunday anyway, its all good. The restricter must be in there as it is boosting correctly, 5psi then 7-8 @ 4500 and when the solenoid was bypassed it was hitting around 11-12psi. Feels alot more responsive and smoother now than what it was just bypassing the solenoid, just not as quick Looking at getting a profec b now so all is good. cheers mate
