  1. Would I be best to measure the resistance of a R34 Skyline with factory seat-belts to find the correct one I need without playing around? The Airbag warning light is not lit. Just the seat belt dash light. I just need it gone -.- So what your saying is that it is linked to the SRS system and that is why I now shouldn't put a potentiometer in?> Uggh haha.
  2. I understand, one more question (sorry) if I track the 2 circled wires back to the control unit to find the correct color. Do you feel these are the correct wires I am looking at? Far right of pic. Your a legend!
  3. https://www.jaycar.co.nz/1k-ohm-linear-b-single-gang-24mm-potentiometer/p/RP3504 Something like this ?
  4. Thank you again. Are you suggesting a 3 pole/pin potentiometer so it plugs directly into the seat-belt plug itself and test from there? (photos attached) Cheers
  5. I like the sound of this idea, however it concerns me I could set off the airbags. I have been told the SRS system all talks together and getting it wrong could lead to potential airbag deployment. Any thoughts on this ? Appreciate the reply
  6. Any help appreciated! I have an R34 Sedan, currently seeking any information regarding the resistor/Ohms required to disable the seat belt light. I have already installed an airbag resistor however due to having new seat belts I need to get rid of the seat belt light (On dash) for compliance. Unfortunately i do not have my old seat belts to plug in and test the Ohms for purchase the correct resistor. Have searched before posting. Thank you!
