  1. Markup tings 😂 Well f#ck... Hahaha
  2. Update: EFI solutions now carries these. https://www.efisolutions.com.au/brake-pad-pin-clip-front-r34
  3. Thanks man na haven't opened the engine at all yet that will be happening in the future one day, along with the head drain. It wasn't leaking I just slowly removed all the heater gear and found all those old tin fittings did t have much life left in them anyways so deleted and bypassed the heater core for one day when I pull the motor I'll pull the aircon and do all the lines and core fittings properly with boost docs kit 👌
  4. Got her home safely. Just have a few more things to fiddle around with and change but I'm very very happy with the end result and I'd like to thank Dose Pipe (NHB automotive) for taking so much of his not existent spare time to talk me through so much shit I honestly owe this man my car. MK raceworks (Matt) Extremely talented, cool, kind bloke did above and beyond with all the fab work and resolved all and any issues without a break of sweat. DVS Tuning (Jez) For being patient with me for 7 years endlessly talking about getting the car there eventually and then having the patience to fit me in last minute you sir are a legend.
  5. The big day received_1074866243523941.mp4
  6. Hot side plumbing and bov/air oil separator recirculation all done. (Had to make a nice mount for it as the one that came with it was very flimsy stamped crap.
  7. Hypertune 100mm thick cast end tank cooler welded up and sat right at home. DBW flange welded to the Rajab upper half plenum then plumbing through under the battery tray. 45mm external gate fitted up and plumbed back into the down pipe.
  8. Loaded her up and sent it down Newcastle way
  9. Replaced all the rear knuckle bushes to gktech units and added some upper camber arms f/r, removed the hicas unit and locked up the rear.
  10. Sorry for the wack order of photos... Got some powder coating done and ceramic coating on the manifold and turbine housing for the Hypergear High flowed stock turbo. After some mucking around and a message to haltech managed to chase down and fix an issue where the dbw wasn't receiving enough voltage. PXL_20230419_093844957.mp4
  11. Changed seals and gaskets as I went here and there. Bypassed the heater core for the moment until I pull the motor and aircon to do new heater lines and core fittings. Replaced spigot bush and added a NPC pull button clutch.
  12. Ended up completely forgetting to keep tabs on what's been happening so 10 months down the track and with much guidance thanks to Dose Pipe the semi finished dbw build ended with 300rwkw flex tuned on E85. Here's some photo spamming.
  13. Hey man I used the carbonetics gtr spoiler and it bolted right up with the short legs. There is definitely no difference in bolt hole pattern between boot lids. Just make sure to make some nice neoprene rubber spacer and rubber washers for under the legs and on the inside of the boot lid where the bolts pass through to prevent any potential water damage and or rust.
  14. What could potentially be done to bring it up to today's standards and do you just not like the chassis or the heart? Hey hey hey can't talk about that euro stuff in here! I was looking over that forum posted earlier from the fella that did the DBW on the factory plenum and noticed how he didn't delete the idle air control and cold start valve?? Also why didnt they mount the DBW throttle straight to the plenum and invert it or can they only be orientated that way. It stopped him using his tower brace 🤔?
  15. That's one tidy boat! Had a few 33's back in the day yours looks like it rips I think it's definitely far opposite of shit box haha
  16. Hahaha Na mate True blue! Did you make your own harness for that vq35 pedal to throttle and what ECU did you run it to? I was reading over the haltech DBW diagram last night I have a pnp elite 2500 in the 34. They say to signal ground any linked grounds near the ECU so individuals signal grounds run from each throttle and pedal back to the ECU then you just splice them in before pinning into the plug right?
  17. Haha I'll look up g35 ones cheers man I'm in NSW btw my bad🤣
  18. Where'd you find one of these pedals I can only find the metal foot with a massive top covered bracket area?
  19. Haha I never thought of it like that so true!
  20. Cheers buddy I'll give them a bell and see what they say. I'll keep this thread going with info/pics and work I do or get done 👍
  21. This is what I wanted to hear! Cheers mate, it'll be interesting and I'm going to do it 😏
  22. Yeah very true 🫡, I was just mainly referring to how much custom fab stuff they have on the sites over there that we usually have to make ourselves or go to a shop to get done. Like different blank plates for things that aren't commonly blanked and ally intercooler piping kits to use the factory holes. I guess cause it's like it's 1998 over there and it's all exciting as a newer skyline gets released into the wild.
  23. I'm glad to hear I'm not crazy thinking of it, I'm in the same boat with the FFP, I do like the look of the plazmaman but it doesn't appear to have any benefits besides accessing the spark plugs and tidying the open bay up a bit. It's cost/gain ratio lacks and I don't want to be putting that hole through the side of the battery tray. The Rajab unit looks nice and compact to still access the fuel side of your strut tower etc! Cheers man I really like the idea of going DBW the the stock unit and removing some of that potentially obsolete engine control gear.
  24. That's what I thought as well haha, ooh I'm amazed at how much interesting stuff is coming out of the states for the Neo now. Would something like the https://www.platinumracingproducts.com/products/platinum-racing-products-drive-by-wire-pedal-throttlebody-kit-to-suit-nissan-r-chassis?variant=43977399075048 Be a good starting point. I can't find any data on how this kits pedal actually goes into a 34 accelerator bracket though.
  25. Hey again guys, this is probably a silly question but can someone explain to me why it would be impossible/not smart/wouldn't work to have a Bosch DBW kit connected up to the factory plenum on a rb25det neo that's running a Haltech elite 2500? If it could work does that mean the old IAC and AAC unit could be removed and blanked off allowing removal of a bunch of coolant lines?
