  1. C-Red doaccording to their website C-Red or West Coast Imports or if you want to look interstate: Japanese Motorsport Just Jap Adelaide Jap Advanced Jap Auto Imports Cheers JB
  2. Why not have a look at the link below to the turbo upgrades thread: RB25 turbo upgrades Find a member's car with around the power output you are looking for and see what turbo they are using...then check the dyno graph to see if the power delivery will be acceptable for you. There are pages of info on setups that are already in use by members. I have the 3540 and it is too big if you want 250kw.
  3. The solenoid is the same one from the Super-AVCR. I have it running with my power fc and it works well...holds boost very steady with my GT3540R and 48mm ext. gate Cheers JB
  4. not sure about supercheap...bunnings should (it was about 5 years ago that i got it)
  5. best thing for removing the residue that I have found is a liquid called dissolveit. wipe it on and all traces of the glue residue is gone. Plus it works great on materials, so can remove any sticky leftovers from the seats, door trims etc hahaha
  6. Hey Mitchy I can beat that...I have done under 200km in the last 19 months Not much choice really when I am not on the same continent as the car
  7. It is awesome to drive although it is slower than it was previously up to 4000rpm, but then the fun starts :PBJ: The limiter is set at 8000rpm I think...I wouldn't mind putting in an RB26 crank to increase the displacement slightly, but as it is now, it still isn't that slow off boost Cheers JB
  8. Go the GT3540R, it is a great turbo and with the .82 exh housing that I have gives full boost at about 4800rpm. I have got 410.7rwhp at only 15psi, so it is easily capable of over 450rwhp with the right supporting mods. But a rebuild will be in order before winding the wick right up on boost As R31Nismoid said, 1st gear is useless and second gear will spin on demand...you need a lot of rubber to get anything out of second...my 265's cant cope
  9. Hi Steve, The picture below is the only one that I have of the interior. It give a good view of the pillar gauges, but not really of how far they stick out. The top gauge juts out more than the steering wheel, which the police/pits dont like because of the chance of hitting your head on them in the event of an accident. You can also see how far they stick out from the a-pillar, which is another thing that they do not like...about restricting the drivers view. I dont think they restrict the view that much, but the guy at teh east perth pits sat in it and straight away said, 'if a small child ran out onto the road you wouldn't see them', yes the bride seats have a low rail, but the guy was also about a foot shorter than me Cheers, JB
  10. Depends on whether you get the 52mm or 60mm pillar gauge holders, but most gauges you can get in either size. If you get the dual pillar gauge holder, be careful about visibility, and how far they stick out. Pillar gauges cannot stick out more than the steering wheel, and must not block drivers side front quarter panel visibility. They (at the pits) are very strick on it. I have a permit for my dual pillar gauges, and the guys at the east perth pits, were going to try and revoke it and they refused to give me my permit back and made me go and see the technical team at welshpool pits. Luckily, because I have a permit that said 'pillar gauges' not 'pillar gauge', they couldn't do anything, although they weren't happy with it. They took a photo of it for records. My top gauge does stick out further than the steering wheel, and blocks some of the view. Trying to get a permit for them like that now would be almost impossible. Cheers JB
  11. The Bel 745 that I had made a different noise depending on the signal detected too, so you didn't have to look at it. By the sound you would know what band has been detected, and the speed of the beeps was determined by how strong the is. Most of them also have a city/highway switch, which on mine stopped the beeping for the X band, which is no longer used except for automatic doors etc. Cheers JB
  12. Hey Mike, Yeah...someone smashed my drivers side window and took it. Didn't take anything else other than my radar detector I was really pissed off about it too
  13. I have (well had since it got stolen out of my car) a BEL 745STi Plus...works brilliantly on multinova's, hand held, in car, and Laser (as long as the laser is pointed at someone elses car and you pick up the signal), and also has a rear sensor on it to detect if a cop car has come up behind you. I think I paid about $600 for it, but that was quite a few years ago now. BEL now have ones that talk to you Cheers JB

how the hell do you get over 400??? Even before the bigger turbo, injectors etc, I dont think I got over 400...I think the most I had reached was about 380 on a tank...now its less
  15. hahahahaha
  16. Cant you leave the ring off?
  17. Mine's got the screws visible (no ring to cover them)...but I think I am going to need a new boss kit and get the torino refitted. It looks like the owner in Japan lost a couple of screws and put some more in but they are not straight, and not the same screws The leather is in pretty good condition, but a bit of the stitching has come loose.
  18. I have the torino too...it is very good, although I wish mine was in as good condition at the one in the photo
  19. hahaha I think he wants the nos purge effect after seeing it in 2F2F
  20. ahhh...ya beat me
  21. I think he is referring to what looks like a bit of panel damage on the right hand side
  22. I have a 3540 with .82 exh housing on my 33 and it's on full boost at about 4500rpm. On 15psi its making 306rwkw on standard internals (apart from cams). Can easily make a lot more, but I dont want to break the motor just yet Running quite conservative on A/F ratio at 11.2 to stop it leaning out anywhere.
  23. Hey Kenny, thats great news Did you get the police to try and find any fingerprints on it? Congrats on getting it back in 1 pience JB
  24. That really sux!!!! I hope you get it back in the same condition they took it. Good luck
  25. Hey Phil, Any news on the tune and posting the dyno sheet? Cheers JB
