I have the exact same tv...had it now for about 10 months. It has the occassional freeze, so I just hit the power button and after about 20 seconds it turns itself off. Then turn it back on and it's fine again. I have only had it freeze maybe half a dozen times at the most in those 10 months. No problems with recorded tv or channels though...maybe I was lucky and got one that works a bit better. I got the extended 5 year warranty so if anything is going to stuff up...hopefully it will be during that time

the 2 sections that make the false floor are just MDF covered in carpet. Removing the 2 pieces reveals the sub box and shelves that the amps are sitting on.

similar to tommy kaira, but not the same. Tommy Kaira is the opposite. Digital display on the left, analogue dial on the right. I did see a picture of the tommy kaira...trying to find it. Wanting to see if these are commonly available
