  1. Thats on a stock bottom end It now hasn't been tuned for 18 months, so I am thinking its about time for a tune
  2. its pretty smooth...there is a pretty big jump in acceleration and keeps on going past redline. I went for the bigger exhaust housing so that it was a bit more subtle and not a off/on boost transition. Still a lot of fun to drive
  3. I have the .86 and it isn't too bad peak power at 6850...full boost between 4k - 4.5k. 306rwkw @ 15psi ***edit*** make that full boost a bit before 4.5k rpm
  4. how about a Dodge Tomahawk???
  5. cool...I'll be there
  6. I've got the Sard...nothing wrong with it at all
  7. not the oldest...but nowhere near the youngest
  8. lol...I think they would be better off trading for one of the carlton runners than Fev
  9. lol will make all of the whinging victorians happy...until he picks a team other than the one they support
  10. CE28N's otherwise the XD9's ...or you can buy my Carlsson RS's and I will get some new ones
  11. just chuck on a big turbo and a big external gate...oh and some ear muffs for all car occupants
  12. yeah...sounds like coilpacks...fuel cut wouldn't be at 5000rpm as keefy said...try the search for misfires
  13. if you are just looking at a getting a power fc and a tune then the stock plenum is fine.
  14. good luck with the sale...although I hope you dont sell it too quick This is the sort of thing I will be looking for as soon as I can sell mine.
  15. stock bottom end...ony internal mod is tomei poncams
  16. performance parts will be removed and sold separately if no one wants the car as it is now
  17. winding it in didn't seem to get harder to wind for me either...but it did fix the problem.
  18. if i remember correctly (it was a few years ago now) wind it anti-clockwise to increase the tension. You dont need to wind it all the way in....but you will need to give it a few rotations. Wind it in and go for a drive to make sure the valve is still opening enough to do it's job...all trial and error until you get it right. I think I gave mine about 20 rotations, but the stalling was a lot more severe than what yours seems like. Mine would stall every stop if you didn't blip the throttle on some gear changes or when stopping (valve would open even when not on boost).
  19. that sounds good...or you could get a cruise going to drive here...and then join the great ocean road cruise
  20. if it's the blitz dual drive, increase the spreing tension using the allen key. I had the dual drive in the S15 and it would stall when stopping with the clutch in...wound up the tension and fixed the stalling completely, without affecting the function of the bov.
  21. go the GTR...Thats what I am thinking of doing. But I have already spend on the car the amount I paid for it (even without a rebuild). Something you will never get back, even in a gtt when you sell...if you can sell it!!! There are a bucket load of gtst's, gtt's and even GTR's...moral of the story is...unless you are going to keep it for a long time dont waste your money on mods. Go the GTR and mod it and keep it for the cars life...thats my plan
  22. Hey abu...thanks mate It was all done by Westseide Car Audio in Osborne Park (WA)
