  1. got two at work ring for details 32 skylines are all 5 bolt type 4.38 ratio they work very well in a 180sx heaps better acc
  2. "I'd have a go adjusting it mate, once you get some big power, you will need all the grip you can get. Maybe try the medium and hard setting, in theory, the more pre-load, the more it will just squeal a tyre, and not dis-engage the diff....." Ive got a cusco 1.5 way and it doesnt squeal the tyre's at all when cornering it just clunks and bangs all over the shop any idea how I can adjust it? It seems to fry the tires a lot better than my old stock diff and I seem to have a lot more forward thrust aswell but it doesnt make the tires squeal around corners like the bosses 33's diff does (SA guys will know what Im on about)
  3. did u buy a SR grey ceffy and I had been told it was bought by a guy with a maroon ceffy Im trying to see how the new owners is going with it?
  4. hats or whatever there call the two bits on each side of the diff that join to the driveshafts. the "hats" come in 5 bolt and 6 bolt have a look at yours and try and find a diff with the same pattern so you dont have to swap the hats over centre housing is the same s13,32,laurel,ceffy If you want to spend a lot of money cause they will charge you more cause "laurel diff's" are hard to find you can ring all the imports parts places you can find and ask for a "laurel diff" in the end you will probably just get sold a 32 diff or a s13 diff
  5. s13 should fit however go for a 32 diff auto or manu is fine you might need to change the hats(?) over to the same bolt pattern as most (all)skylines are 6 bolt flange but it will be the right ratio 4.38 as sr's are 4.083 ca's are also 4.38 so they maybe ok too
  6. got one at work check our site for pics last one left has traction control
  7. seems hks turbos dont really like stock act I was having similar problems and a lot of lag until I wound my hks act in really tight now it holds 1 bar fairly well i.e cold night creeps a little. My hks act has a lot less travel than a stock act when its set to 1 bar and I know Huddy is also having problems with lag on his running a stock act ATS adelaide turbo service has adjustable act (not hks ones) for $120
  8. cough soft cough just kidding but it would be nice to see a few more guys from here out there I dont think any 34's or 33's have been out there yet
  9. too far smofar ha ha

  14. Im running a Nardi like on my old car but its bigger than the one I had on my 180 the car felt good tonight I did the big sweeper corner a few times sic! I will get the rear toe in put back to straight as the rear didnt feel real nice to me? It was still push understeering a little(rev dump will fix that) Ive ordered my castor rods. I spoke to some guy from team dynamic's today for a while about a few other things I can try like good tyres lower profile, lots of castor +7 or more and lowering my car another 50 mm?
  15. its that time again 6 till 9 pm tonight should be good tonight as it should be dry yippee
  16. I see what you mean sydney I really just mean the weight of the steering wheel. I was think maybe my PS pumps on the way out but I dont know why a few other cars Ive driven have been the same ie heavy steering while my old car had really light steering that you could flick it really easily which I liked for drifting at the moment Im run 215/55 r16 on a set of s15 stockies sorry I dont know the offset sus guy just set I was running a fair bit of castor already for just the stock stuff and no adj camber arms so stockish camber? Im trying to buy some cheap adj castor rods now I'll see how that goes maybe I'll steal Nathan G1's car tommorow night at Port G
  17. Ive been told to run as much castor as I can get for drift as it helps the car correct itself. ie bringing the wheel back from full lock to dead straight again I think I remember being told that it also makes the steering effort harder the steering in my 32 is already a lot heavier than my old 180 so I dont want to make it any heavier. What are my options? is castor that important? at the moment the sus shop told me I have a lot of castor already just using the stock setup with a drift alignment I drove my mates 180 back when I had mine and even his had a lot heavier steering than my 180 and Ive also driven another mates 95 180 same deal heavy steering dont get me wrong the power steering seems to be working fine I just cant work out why my old 180's steering response was so much lighter ps my 180 didnt have any sus work except swaybars and sports type gab shocks
  18. sounds just like the one my work have coming in but its not a 2.7 lt probably make 350 rwkw plus

  20. I'm after a fcd either hks or turbo smart with the seller happy to COD to Adelaide Im waiting to here back from a guy selling one for $50 so I don't really want to have to pay much more than this let me know. Thanks
  21. getting the car ready for regency can be done for $900ish or even less if you do the work your self and just get it signed off. My man conv cost me $1450 including gearbox through FBI buying a auto 32 is the way to go as they are usually (in my case anyway) in better mechanical condition. However make sure you look the car over very well! i.e under the car as well for rust and damage
