  1. Hi, I have a four-door 1989 R32. The main plastic gear inside my front passenger seatbelt tensioner broke the other day. I was after a replacement seatbelt assembly, or just the tensioner if they arent too hard to fix to the belt (I think they would be though?). I've been told the front seatbelts for the sedan are scarce, they're different to the coupe and I apparently can't use coupe seatbelts. I've also been told that Nissan dont supply them anymore and I'll have to scrounge around the wreckers. Does this information sound correct to you guys? More importantly, does anyone have one to sell to me? Cheers
  2. okay next part is, how do i get the steering wheel off? i can get the main nut off, but i couldnt get the wheel to slide off its little corrugated pin (which seemed kind of burred). is there a trick to it, or should i simply be putting in more effort? after that i assume its simply a case of getting the switch out and cleaning/replacing it?? thanks for the advice fellas
  3. PS, it isnt as bad as it sounds, i was high-beaming them while parked.. no im not into endangering my mates lives!
  4. Ive checked around but I dont think Ive seen this problem mentioned before. I have an 89 R32 GTS, and I high beamed some mates of mine the other night, using the flashing/pull function of the indicator stalk (rather than pushing the stalk/switching high beams on). i pulled on the stalk for a good 5 seconds or so. so ever since i did that they simply stayed on. whenever i switch the headlights on, the result is constant high beams and low beams. pulling/pushing on the stalk has no effect except to switch the left low beam off/on. its really strange. any ideas where this is happening and how to solve? its the sort of thing i could have a look at first but havent had time yet. im thinking i pushed the actual stalk-swtiching mechanism too far....
