  1. Hi guys, Im looking for an R32 skyline gtst as it seems to be the cheapest option for me. Im also thinking whether the the gts4 is a better option, as its 4wd. I don't know much personally about r32 non gtr's as I haven't driven any, thus I need a bit of help in deciding first which car is a good option, which one might be more fun to drive. The next bit is more important, as I'm looking for really cheap r32's, and since there are ton's of Japanese auction sites, I figure you lads would know of some that sell them cheap. My budget allows for about 2000gbp max(4k u.s. dollars), because shipping would run me up even more and legalization cost around 5,000. Can anyone recommend a good shipper, preferably one that is container and not RORO, because its safer. Some of these auctions work together with boat shipments, and I'm looking at getting the cheapest shipment prices. I know that in Japan, some of these r32's go for really cheap, and are in fairly good condition with about 100km's or so. I'm looking for one that is unmolested really, but mainly one that is cheap. Some of these individual owners sell them for real cheap. I just need some links and some feedback of some of the auctions that are really cheap in japan and sell these non gtr's, thanks so much guys! Wish I lived other there so I wouldn't have to be of trouble to you guys.
  2. Exactly. Skyline has died out, with the move to North America.

  7. I dont know about you guys, but im totally rethinking the looks of the gtr concept. Rezz, It does look rather bad ass doesnt it? *grin* http://r35forum.com/index.php?act=Attach&t...&type=post&id=8

blasphemy, we need some interior shots: http://r35gtr.com/newpics
  9. Very well said. Our only hope is that the new concept is in our favor, and Nissan implement's finer changes to the model, such as the mitsubishi eclipse concept, or RX-evolv to RX-8. I also think that we might see the model if Nissan thinks its time, or if the new concept is apt and ready, to start releasing production models sometime in 2006, maybe late 2006, as a 2007 model maybe. :boobs:
  10. Im wondering what will happen with the name. It wont be shocking IMO if Carlos Ghosn calls the next gtr something different than v35gtr. What im really wondering is when Carlos Ghosn will mention it. As you all know, the event lasts from Oct 22 (Sat) to Nov 6 (Sun). So, is there a specific day in which nissan will be representing their cars, favorably the next gtr, or is it "just wait and see"?
  11. thanks for the info rezz. I cant wait for it to go down. Im just counting down till october.
  12. From what I know, the benchmark for the next gen gtr is Porsche. I have heard Hiroshi Tamura has left the gtr project from tyndago@rbmotoring If i recall correctly. The gtr will be the first to break the 206kw agreement limit? There will be four wheel drive, twin turbo and round lights for sure? It will be available RHD as a nissan for japan, au, uk, and LHD as an infiniti for US? It will come with a new version of attesa e-ts? The new chassis is Fr-L for sure? will carry an anti lag turbo system? Will it show up at this year's geneva auto show, 2 months prior to TMS? the new engine will change bacuase of strict emission standards in the US? Nissan has said to be taking long with this model because it will be a global car, and there is no global market without the US? Carlos ghosn, has he provided any sales targets for the next gtr or will he at TMS this year? Directly after the TMS, it is possible it will go on sale in 2006, before the expected year of 2007? Would the GTR be in benefit for infiniti, i.e. boost its sport's car/luxury image? Worldwide sales will reached by 2007? Will the scheduled release of the new V36 skyline be mentioned at this years TMS? Will the gtr at TMS be a new concept of the gtr, or a pre-production model? Is there a chance the one at TMS will be LHD like the concept? Will there be different chassis codes for US and JP models? Will there be a N/A and turbo model or just the turbo model? Will nissan provide an offical title at this year's TMS? What other things can we expect from the show?
  13. Rezz, np my friend. We all make an effort to get online and read your awesome posts, always remember that. I am just so excited about this. Have you seen any JP mags post up on this? Any JP mags actually know this info?
  14. na rezz. you got it all wrong, im not looking at delivering scoops b4 you, na man. I give you cred b4 anyone else. in fact, your the one that made me do more research, dedicate more time to finding out info. see here: http://forums.gtrcanada.com/viewtopic.php?t=2044 reason i didnt post it, is because im quite busy now. i got uni and work, plus i did that article my self. but see this other article: http://forums.gtrcanada.com/viewtopic.php?t=2037 shows my respect for you man. you been giving me harshness for awhile when ive been saying nothing but good about you to people at my boards.
  15. also rezz, how did you find out this info btw?
  16. Yes, hehe. I posted this at gtrcanada.com a few days before. I didn't know it, but I was planning to tell you guys sooner than the 3 weeks, but I did so a week ago at gtrcanada.com lol. I knew something was going to happen at TMS anyways long before, just didnt know what would happen.
  17. I had found out it was going to be at TMS two weeks ago, so its quite recent. I posted about this a week ago at gtrcanada.com so some of you might have seen this coming already.
  18. Rezz, after rummaging a person, skylineGTR_Guy found patents for the U.S., U.K., and Australia. We also found a performace division Infiniti is making for Nismo parts, or possibly of their own. http://r35forum.com/index.php?showtopic=40
  19. lol. Imagine what will happen if it comes out in an auto show this year, a 'updated version' or something, more photochops.
  20. No, obviously I know what your saying, but I dont know. Hopefully they will clear the issue, if they do change it to something else. mcn, dont worry I will change it if need be, and even though its nonexistent at least its in the mind of the nissan R&D....and as so it is in my mind as well. I try to imagine it how it will be like as If I were the one to develop it, of course my version is much more radical, I dont dare make a photoshop. *wink* By the way, has anyone noticed that in 2001-2002 a lot of photochops were made, and now there aint none anymore?
  21. Some people still question it like myself, but I hold my doubts. Ive read rezz's very informative thread on why it won't be called that, but why couldn't they have made a statement on changing it. Surely, they would want to avoid this confusion? I hope really, it gets called something else, as im quite tired of the name 'as is.'
  22. r35gtr

    The R35....

Rezz is spot on. what tradition you guys assimilating when referring to just one of the 'r' models, there's plently more to come around.
  23. with the intro of the new gtr there wont be a need for import companies in the u.s. anymore.
  24. this may be off topic, but what do you guy's think will happen to import companies in the u.s. like rbmotoring? Will they go out of business?
  25. The faq is open for changes and suggestions. Rezz, if you want it changed im totally cool with it, I think its a good idea. I just got in now, last friday i came up with a viral infection with a 104 degree fever. it has sucked ass
