  2. Thanks heaps guys, saved me some time.
  3. Looking for instuctions for the hks evc 3 and wondering if anybody knows where to download them in english. There has to be a place to get them, pretty much just want to know what the little switch on the back is saying sw or po? also what u attach the boost scrambeller too??? any help would be appreciated.
  4. Dude this is $699 on Ebay, HKS EVC 5. Got an update on the price????
  5. Yours is probably PUSH dude, mine is the same year and it is a Push. Take it to a machanic and get them to look. They can just look into the peep hole on side of box and see.
  6. Can these be put in the standard cradle IN TANK??? anybody know?
  7. yeah i know, going to have help for that bit though. Still deciding on what clutch to get and which credit card to put it on lol.
  8. Got Os giken TS2BD, push type. Always rattled untill the day it died. Only when it was sitting in neutral with clutch in. Don't know whether to get it reco'd or upgrade and get the tripple.
  9. Fricken allen key bolts. Stripped two allan keys trying to get the Os giken clutch off lol. Soaked the bolts in WD40 and that didn't work. Before i take the angle grinder to them anybody got any ideas?
  10. I had the same problem with my top bolt, kept dropping the spanner down the back of the engine. In the end I tied it to my wrist so it didn't happen again. That was the hardest part. I was worried about the weight, but in the end I just put a few large bags stuffed full of bubble wrap under the box (I wasn't going to catch it on my own) then just lowered the jack. Worked like a charm. I finally found a good way of doing the tail bolts. Get two spanners for bolt and nut and lock one spanner in where the hydrolic pipe goes in, the jutting out part (not the pipe or something easily bent or damaged). Jam the shaft pinning a crow bar through it and to the floor (long one required). Then snap the bolt, if having trouble extend your tool any way you can and get some leaverage. Pretty hungover today so hopefully I've explained it ok. If anybody has any good ideas on getting that top bolt back in when the box is back on, I would love some ideas. I know it's going to be a tough one. Anybody know where to get OS giken twin/tripple clutches reconditioned in Sydney or anywhere, I know HKS can send them off but I'd rather cut out the middle man.
  11. Got no one to tell atm so i am going to post . Just droppeed my gear box by myself and it was probably the hardest thing i have ever had to do on a car. never done one so i am taking an opportunity to boast before i find out that i have fu#$ed something up in the process lol. wooooooooooohooooooooo :laughing-smiley-014:
  12. Installation easy, and didn't take long. I suggest putting the LED thought the dash lights. Got my LED going though the ABS warning light and no one would know it's there and warning light is still working, just took a little trim off the light plug. Be carful not to squash the wires if doing this way. Taken it for a little test but can't say much because clutch is gone/going. Could hardly get it up the rams yesterday ready to drop the gearbox.
  13. Hijacked i have the same problem or very similar with my R32 GTR. I find that sometimes that car doesn't engage with first properly even know there is hardly any load. Lately i have been finding that 5th and 4th on high boost, high load is starting to slip this might be because i left the problem to long and now the clutch is starting to go not sure. The pedel never felt right only engaging right at the top when it did engauge. I am probably going to have to get a new clutch but i'm going to try and bleed the system anyway. Mine is a push type tripple plate clutch. If u find out whats going on tell me so i can rectify. :

  20. I rang Gearbox factory in Greenacre and it would cost $1250 to reco a gearbox providing nothing is broken. $300 to take the box out. As for the clutch they can't Reco a tripple plate clutch.
  21. Took the car on it's final run down the coast for the last long drive before it gets worked on. Clutch isn't holding anymore with very much acceleration. So sad having so much power and only being able to cruise. So better stop driving before i get caught on a hill lol.. Probably right, i would say that it is the R32 box. Might see if i can get R33 box, their ment to be tougher but going to find out for certain. Got under the car and can't tell if it's push or pull
  22. Got problems (who hasn't on this forum lol), Tripple plate clutch up for change. Should i Recondition or get a new one? plus i can hear a bearing going so that means probably the gear box recondition as well Have an R32 but it's got a R33 engine installed. So here is the delema what gear box would i have?. 1 Does anybody know how to tell the difference from looking? 2 Would it be push of pull? 3 Is there a better gear box?
  23. lol oooops
  24. Pretty cheap Radar, anybody had any experience with these? Looks to cheap to work. lol
  25. I knew someone who had one installed in his M5 BMW. It cost him a bit about $1500 with everything installed. It saved him a number of times. In the end though he did get nabed, not sure if that's because he didn't turn it off or because he just left it on the dash. All the police did though was take the device from him and warn him, didn't give him a fine neither.
