Hey Guys, I am after a Fuel tank for an R32 GTST 4 door. Obviously I want one without holes etc, Prefer it without any rust inside, however if it is only a small amount of surface rust, I can get it cleaned for $120....so that would seriously change what I am willing to pay for it. You can email pics to [email protected] so we can see if it's the same as mine. Cheers Chris 0412 495 958

Hmm...well it had 3, and it's a stock wheel and everything.... Anyone else pulled theirs apart? did it look like this? Don't suppose you have any photos?
-
Anyone else got any input?

The 2nd picture shows the final piece of the boss kit. if I take it off, there is just a peice of plastic left. All the horn wiring plugs into the part seen in the second picture. Then the part in the first picture attaches to it, which then attaches to a plug which goes to the horn.

Hey Guys. I bought a nardi wheel and a Nardi boss kit which is supposed to be for my R32 GTST. After pulling the old one apart, there is 3 contacts that are used for the horn. The previous boss has 3 seperate contact for those, the new one has only one. When I tighten the nut to hold the boss on, the horn goes off. Pics are attached. If anyone has pics of what it should look like, please post them up. From what I can tell I have the wrong boss kit...or have I missed something? Cheers Chris

Classifieds By State

Sounds Good. My thinking was that I know you guys use the same board as NS, so I figure you could adapt the same/similar system. I personally think it's awesome that they have done that at NS. Been waiting for it. And SAU is getting that busy now that it needs it too. Cheers Chris -
Classifieds By State
eXc replied to eXc's topic in Site discussion - including Ideas/Feedback & Bugs
So you do! Never notcied that But I don't think that is the best way. It should be one classifieds section, which you can filter buy state if you wish, or you can view everything. -
Hey Guys, NissanSilvia have finally changed so that they are able to either view all the classifieds, or just the ones in a particular state. This is brilliant as when looking for something you want to pick up (say wheels in my case) you have to sort through 2 or 3 times the amount. Any chance of getting something similar happening? It wouldn't be any good to just have a seperate forum for each, unless there was a "view all forums" option, cause many people will want to view everything. Anyways, have a look at NS and you will see what I mean,. edit - The call them "catagorys" for the different states. Cheers Chris

Lower Lip R33 Gtr $250 Neg.
eXc replied to dannyyy21's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
So I guess that means you don't know the offset and width of the rims, or the tyres? The offset and width should be stamped on the rims somewhere. -

What's the width of the wheels? What brand are the tyres? Do you know the brand of the wheels? -
is it 100% really a 32 kit? cause I did that too. I said specifically, it is a 32 kit, not a 33? and they said yes. I get it, and it had 33kit on it, so i rang them "oh no...it just comes in that box...its definartly a 32 kit" then i looked at it all mounted everything and was like, there is no way its a 32 kit, call them back and they said "oh...well it's a 33 kit, but you're the first person to tell us it doesnt line up properly...we always sell the 33 kits to 32 guys.....if you want we can get you a 32 one, but it will take 6 weeks or something.."

well if I get the chance, I'll get a closer look, maybe take it off and see. thanks for the help guys.

I don't usually like telling people they are wrong, but this is one time I am glad to say you were! (atleast initial testing says so) Just got it all tight again, went for a drive and it seems fine now. Of course time will tell... Well, all I know is it was a squeel, and it was sugested to me that it sounded like a boost leak. I took it to my tuner and he was confident in saying "it's the exhuast-turbo gasket" Yeah, I thought of that, I was like...yeah not such a good idea! The 'crack' to me looks more like a cast to me, because it is so straight, and I couldn't move it, and it's a wierd direction, I would have thought it would split the other way. Either way it seems fine now...Time will tell. Thanks all

here's some pics of mine and how it didn't line up. And as someone said above, the pipes go the wrong way.

My just jap 33 kit fits mine, but I wouldn't do it again. The intercooler had to go on an angle (over exagerated, but the angle I mean, is if you hold it flat, you push one the left side towards the rear of the car, and the right side towards the front of the car. It also had to be moutned on an ablge the other direction too, but that's no big deal. After that was done (and the front bar/the reinforcement bar was chopped, it only JUST fit (it was a JUST Jap kit...haha) and the pipe/tanks don't line up, I occcasionally blow a pipe cause of it....could be fixed with a 45 degree silcone, but that costs $100 so it's not gonna happen. What I had to do; - Cut hole in wall near right wheel - Cut re-enforcement bar - cut front bar to get the cooler to fit (centre support, side supports + shortened the depth so it would mount) - cut the fan so it would fit I think that was all SOOOOOOOOOOO, short story long - if you are buying new, get the 32 kit, if its second hand and an awesome price, it will fit.... just not line up as well as the 32 kit.

That's what I thought....One of the bolts (the hardest one to get too, is loose, so I am hoping that is all it is.... BTW, Yes, at the very end of the arrow is where i meant, I was not worried about the heatsheild Let ya's know tommorow how it goes after I get this bolt done up (gotta take a heap of stuff off to get to it. grrr I'll try the aero start/carbi cleaner too Cheers Chris

I've had this problem since I've had my car, I've just always blipped the throttle before it stalled. For what it's worth, these are the things I have replaced for other reasons - Not to solve this issue, however mabye it will cancel some things out; R32GTST, Stock internalsm stock BOV Fuel Pump (Bosch 044) AFM (standard R32 Green label) RB25 Turbo Splitfire Coil Packs Cleaned Air Regulator Spark Plugs Fuel Filter Maybe my BOV is blocked, I'll clean all that out tonight when I am chasing my boost leak

Hey Guys, I am chasing a boost leak on my car, I came accross this while checking the turbo bolts. I never noticed it when I installed it (it's an RB25 Turbo on a Rb20). That doesn't mean it wasn't there, I just didn't notice it. Can anyone tell me if this is just from when it was made, or if it is a crack? Anyone have it on theres? (someone please take 4 mins to remove the heat sheild and tell me? Pic attached. Cheers Chris
