Hmm, sounds like there's no easy approach to this. Might just have to document the change and live with the 24,000 km decrease on CARJAM. It doesn't bother me and to be honest I'd live with it if I was going to keep the car forever, but I will eventually be selling it to buy a house in a couple years and worried it might hurt the resale value. Is what it is, I guess it would be OK if I keep the broken cluster as proof. Would've been nice to keep the records clean though.

Haha yeah there is that option but I don't have the time. No service history, so would be good to adjust it somehow. In NZ the km's get registered on a site called CARJAM so would show up as an inconsistent odometer if I left it how it is now.

Hi All, Couldn't find anything on this topic so hoping someone out there can help. My cluster stopped working so I had to replace it with a stock second hand one. My car has around around 75,000 km and the replacement cluster has 51,000 km on it. Wanting to know if there is a way to increase the reading so that my odometer stays consistent?

Ok, I'll give that a go. Does it just screw off? Any special tools required to remove it or could you just use an oil filter wrench on it? There's nothing in the manual.

Hmm ok, so there is a problem then? I’ve read that the nitrogen canister causes the relays to click, haven’t heard anything about the canister and my issue till now. So you had the same issue and replacing this fixed it? As in doesn’t make intermittent buzzing noises now? Just want to be sure before I spend ~$480 on this!

So this is normal? It does it every 30-40 seconds for a second or two after the first prime. This is my first GTR so I know nothing about what’s normal or not lol.

Hi All, I’ve done a search and couldn’t find anything on this specific topic. On startup I have this weird buzzing sound from the rear of the car which goes away in about 10 seconds. It’s definitely not the fuel pump. Sounds like something 4WD or HICAS related pressurising? It can be heard intermittently for about 2 seconds every 30 seconds or so after the first “prime”. Is it a normal V-Spec thing, or am I losing pressure somewhere? Hope someone can shine some light on this. Thanks!
