  1. ah gotcha ill go remeasure again, thanks for all the tips. when i measured the TPS 5v reference voltage, i put my multimeter leads on 5v power and strut tower bolt, it gave me 5v with boost sensor disconnected and with boost sensor connected it gave me 1.4v. ill try remeasure again this time with volt meter both on the 5v reference and TPS signal ground wire.
  2. Hi all quick update, so i checked the wiring circuit on TPS / Boost sensor, everything checks out fine. So at this point im really leaning towards 2nd fried boost sensor due to bad ecu maybe? Is there a way or value to check for when ohm testing the boost sensor? Also is there a way to bypass the boost sensor? Thankyou
  3. hey GTSboy thanks for the quick reply. im on stock ECU Surprisngly enough i unplug everything and replug everything, readings are still off but the car drove...ok haha So far this is what i have done. - Replaced ECU (still 1.5v) - Replaced Boost sensor (still 1.5v) Now the next thing i tried is to unplug the TPS and only plug in the Boost sensor to see if it reads 5v. No it still only read 1.5v. Its a new boost sensor and i know i have 5v if i dont plug the sensor back in, so that means the power wire is good. So now im thinking that it might be a bad ground on the boost sensor plug. on the FSM says the ground to the boost sensor is a sensor ground, can i add a ground wire from the boost sensor ground wire to the the engine itself to ground it? or chassis?
  4. Ah yes the boost sensor* sorry that is what I meant
  5. Hi all I have a rb25det neo that's causing some sputtering issue. I nailed it down to the tps voltage currently reference output is 1.5v, when it should be 5v. Funny thing is since he boost solenoid is on the same circuit, I disconnect the boost solenoid and it gave me 5v back to tps, plugged it in and it only gives me 1.5v. So I replaced a new boost sensor and new ecu it still only give me 1.5v on the complete circuit with tps and boost sensor connected. I even tried disconnect the tps and only hook up the boost solenoid to isolate if tps is actually draining it down. Still gives me 1.5v with boost solenoid attached and 5v unattached Can anyone give me some pointers what I should look for now. Thanks
  6. Hi im in the market to buy a RB25DET NEO timing Belt kit. the link is https://www.z1motorsports.com/camshaft-and-valve-mechanism/nismo/oem-nissan-rb20-rb25-rb26-timing-belt-kit-p-3813.html But here it says it doesn't fit a Neo motor but it also says it fit 98-2002 Skyline RB engines which i think is mostly Neo my question is, can Neo 25 Turbo use this kit and water pump? Thanks
  7. Oh thankyou for your responds! Did later gen RB20DE ever came with VCT? my Loom has VCT connection with it also 64 is A/T mode switch signal (POWER) [RB20DE (L/B). and since that 64 wire is black / Yellow ill assume this is not a RB20DE loom?
  8. unless this is a RB25DE loom im dealing with?
  9. Hello i have a swapped neo25det and i have a question. I hope im wrong but is pin47 for turbo sensor missing on the ecu side? Suppose to be 2 green and 1 red for crank angle stuff and 1 more red wire beside it for turbo sensor but its empty? Can anyone confirm?
  10. Looking for RB25DET cat for my C35 Laurel Thanks
  11. Looking forward to purchase a neo turbo turbo sensor and neo harness Thanks!
  12. Also another question is that i also noticed since this is a Neo 25 IACV the plugs on this and the harness IACV is different, i now believe my loom is from an older R33 RB25DET loom with. What i mean is that the the IACV from older harness uses 2 plug ( Purple and Brown) where as the NEO25DET use 1 grey plug with Black and Red wire. Now the question is can i just hook it up to random ignition power and ground or does the IACV Power and Ground need to be in a specific spot in the ECU?
  13. Hello, i have imported a c35 laurel with a manual rb25det neo in it. Originally the car was an auto rb20de and i have a question. I see that the rb25det neo has 2 tps. 1 on the back and 1 on the front with the traction motor. Well the car came in with the traction motor and the front tps unhooked and there is no where to plug it in. I have confirmed that the vct plug is there and i have confirmed the maf is a 3pin connector which tells me that this loom is not a rb20de loom. Its possible this loom is from 25det rs4v stagea? My question is where do those 2 plug go? My loom doesnt have the plug for the front tps sensor and traction motor. Unless that is an automatic transmission thing Thanks
  14. Hi i just bought a lovely Cedric 2001 VQ30DD Could anyone Email me with the english manual my Email is [email protected] Thanks alot!
