Easier solution mate, drop it into first then quickly put ur left foot on brake n use ur right 2 feather the accelerator to what you need.. should have enough go 2 snap 2 2nd gear or wateva if need be.

I reckon powersteering pump is on its way out mate.

dont listen 2 him bud. turbo bolts on fine, did it in a day with a mate.. Only thing u gotta do is block some oil return lines n rotate the wastegate 2 fit as it hits on ur suspension tower in the engine bay.. The turbo is quite laggy, but that has 2 be expected if ur not planning on doing other mods 2 go with it. Mine comes on boost at about 3,800 n full boost by about 5,000. No need for a flash manifold, however u may aswell get one i spose as i had 2 rip the heatshield off the stock one 2 make it fit.. So it looks 'average' lol. Anyways unless your going 2 spend a lil more money besides the turbo.. U probably wont get alot out of it as you wanted. The dump pipe that KKR makes is 2 small aswell, its on my car n its a V band flange or wateva its called.. It needs 2 be larger so thats the only downfall ive found with it. Ive had the turbo on my car for about 4-5months now n have had no trouble at all with it. Am only running a low 10psi/12psi though. Good luck with your turbo set up, Steve.

Im sure some of the site sponsers could help you out on a good price for a fmic kit.. Or you could go the cheap way n check ebay for a chinese copy lol. FMIC kits can start anywhere from 300 dollars all the way up to about 2,000 Depending on brand n style. With your 2stage boost controller.. id probably bump the "high" up to about 10psi. Has the car got a boost gauge? I wouldve thought that having the aftermarket exhaust (is it 3"?) wouldve bumped the boost up by itself anyways. How much money did u want 2 spend? U could grab a piggy back computer for cheap.. or look at going a complete aftermarket computer. But for the mods u said u were having or going 2 do, i hardly see it worthwhile. Maybe stick with a SAFC2 as toffy said.

i got a r32 stock fuel pump if u need that mate ( i know u said rb30) but incase u get desperate shoot me a pm.. also got a stock r32 sidemount cooler n think i got all the piping. if ya dont get one off old mate. should be almost exactly same set up anyways.

i wouldnt suggest this turbo for an rb20 mate.. i got the kkr430, n even that is laggy.. It suggests on the otomoto website that the KKR480 is for 2.5L - 3.0L engines.
