Hey Guys, I've got a RB25DET out of a Series 1 for sale... The car was driven to the workshop for the engine to be removed... The only problem with the engine is a ringland or two is gone (due to car being stolen and thrashed on normal unleaded... What annoys me the most is the dude stole the fuel, least he could have done was stolen premium)... Anyway for $300 you get a complete bottom end, head (with blue powder coated rocker covers), standard turbo (with very minimal shaft movement) and exhast manifold... I went to BP at Bentley on Saturday and i was chatting to the Attendant about the promotion... Its only running until the 13th of September and its only running in WA as a trial... But as an example i bought about $81 worth of ultimate and i also bought 2 chocolate bars ($5 for both) to get the 4c discount... In the end it cost me about $81.50 or $82.50, can't remember exactly... So your not really saving money if you do that everytime you fill up, you'll just end up fat... Also according to BP, Shell is loosing heaps of money through their deal with Coles Myer, but its Coles Myer which is having to foot the bill for Shell... The other thing that was mentioned was that BP don't want to "cheapen" their product by having to offer fuel discounts to encourage people to by BP fuels...

Hey Adrian, Thanks man, just what i wanted to hear... Yeah i have been driving by BP Cannington everynight as well as BP on Nicholson Rd and they haven't gotten Ultimate yet...

So does anyone know which BP stations have received a fresh batch of Ultimate???

I'm running an Autronic SM2... The plenum will bolt straight onto the head no problems... As for the injectors, from memory they will not work on the standard GTST computer, but i think a resistor pack is required to change the impedance... If you do a quick search for standard GTR injectors and see what people have done with them, you'll quickly find the answer...

Because i didn't want to have an extra metre and a half of piping, also the plan back then was to put a Garrett GT30 on, but that didn't happen then... The biggest thing i noticed, was the throttle response difference i got between the standard plenum and the new one... Was a massive improvement...

They perplex the rocker covers... Sorry... Umm i'm not sure exactly what they do, but i think they help reduce oil vapor in the rocker covers... Nothing will hold the power i want... But they will be fine for what we have decided on as a max power figure... The sump i got from Ken at Hyperdrive, can't remember off the top of my head where he got it from...

Hey Guys, I'm in desperate need of the following items to complete my engine rebuild... all the bolts for water pump sump and nuts oil filter assembly and bolts rear main seal housing lower cover for timing belt crank scraper bolts to girdle TPS for rb26 If anyone has any of these or knows anyone that has these, please let me know... Unfortunately i have everything else prep'ed and ready to go, but as the motor was just about to be screwed together the engine builder noticed the crack... So i am desperately seeking a new block...
