  1. Ahhh very true... But if you have both then life is sweet...
  2. Relating to the main question being asked... IMO a plenum is a good move for a few reasons (even with standard turbo)... But the main ones is that it reduces the piping and the next is the throttle response... Made an enormous difference on my car... my 2 cents...
  3. How much are they worth Steve???
  4. I'm having the same problem...
  5. Sorry to hear... I know what its like to loose a friend to a car accident... condolences....
  6. Hey Guys, Got some standard RB26 cams for sale off a R33 head... SOLD Also some standard RB26 cam sprockets... $50 RB30 bottom end... $300ono R33 S1 GTST AFM - $150ono Can take pics if interested... Thanks Woody...
  7. Basically the long and the short of it is that as long as the tuner is comfortable with the ECU and knows its limitations then there shouldn't be any problems... Every ECU has hidden tid bits that perform certain functions... The other thing to remember with tunable ECU's is that if the customer plays with the settings then its not the tuners or ECUs fault for lunching the engine... But sometimes freak things DO happen and its NO ONES fault...
  8. Arguing about which Engine Management is better (Autronic *cough* ) is a little off topic... But results speak for themselves... http://www.autronic.com/page_files/hall_of_fame.htm I'm certainly impressed with the 1.8L Honda making 775HP @ flywheel... Personally i would research what you need and what you can afford and what you want to do with your car and go from there... Personally i went with Autronic because it had all the features i wanted... And also if and when i get time i can finish developing the digial dash i started...
  9. Thanks Nugget... Just curious really... Sometimes i wish i had ABS in some heavy braking instances i have had...
  10. Just outta curiousity is it possible to fit ABS into a skyline without ABS... I know you would need the ABS unit and install the speed sensors into the wheel hubs (which i'm doing anyway for traction control with my Autronic SM2 )... What else would be needed??? Is it easy or hard install?? Thanks. Woody.
  11. I only have standard r33 injectors... i do, but they are on my car with my standard turbo at the moment...
  12. I got a permit for my supersound Blitz blowoff valve... Just took off the trumpet...
  13. Looking at about $700 for the head... Nah, don't really want to separate the cams...
  14. Hey Guys, Been seeing some interesting skylines on the roads of perth... Seen a few skylines with hot chicks driving them, especially on friday arvo on spencer road, a very nice blonde chick was sitting at the lights in a black R33... Always good to see hot chicks driving Skylines... Also last week when it was pissing down raining, a red R33 overtook me and i noticed on the back a GTR badge, so i sped up and had a good look at the skyline... Low and behold it was only a GTST, then next thing i noticed was Spec R badges on the sides where they should be on a S15... I have also seen a commodore with a GTR badge, neons and a GT wing... Have also seen a old falcon with a homemade wooden GT wing... Look real dodgey... Also an old boxy daihatsu move like car with THE biggest GT wing i have every seen... It was sitting ontop of the roof and consisted of 3 layers... Anyone else seen any "interesting" cars???
  15. There is a small crack in the resonator... Either cut out the resonator or weld it... I suggest cutting it out... Oh yeah its a Jasma, which from memory is a Trust item...
  16. Yes it does and the alternator pulley is for a hitachi from memory...

  20. That drift bible rocks!!! I got that a few days ago and have the urge to go out and try some e-locks and dynamic drifting... Also now when i've been braking into corners i've been thinking about weight transfer...
  21. I got a Beltronic LM Remote i think its called and it works beautifully!!! Picks up multinovas and radars on cop cars as well as hand held lasers... I have turned off the band for the laser because it goes off ALL the time with other things around and by the time the cop pulls the trigger hes got ya speed... But multinovas works well... The radars are a bit harder to interpret sometimes, but overall mine works well!!!
