  2. Sub-Zero is in Labrador near SeaWorld... And its running a RB30/26 combo with a PowerGlide auto box, from memory...
  3. I'm after a RB26 head with plenum and throttle bodies... Dont need turbos or manifolds... Doesnt matter where you are located, i'll pay for freight... Thanks Woody...

  6. WA has it sweeter... It cost me $50 odd for the car to be inspected at the pits (coz i got a yellow) then $25 odd for a mod permit... I got a permit for my POD, Vent to atmo BOV, exhaust, radius rods as well as a note on the permit saying that the exhaust and BOV were below acceptable dB levels...
  7. Whats that, the cold-start?? Thats probably coz the PowerFC requires the IAC valve there and has a big spaz if its not... I'll ask him tonight and find out...
  8. I've got a Sub-Zero plenum on my car... Inside the plenum is big bell-mouths at the top of each runner... My climate control works fine... I'm running Autronic in my car and have no problems with cold-start...
  9. The other place you can look is workshops or more specifically workshops that deal with jap cars... I believe C-Red has a container arriving with half-cuts in it with a R33 half-cut... send a PM to GTAAH...
  10. Thats the EXACT same dash as the Red JUN car in C-Red... Its a TFT tv hooked up to the HKS CAMP system... its pretty cool... It has a fish screensaver and apparently the harder you drive the more psycho the fish go!!!

  16. I wouldn't have said cubes, coz the Formula 1/Indy cars are only 3litres from memory, but they rev out to 16,000rpm or something crazy like that!!! I would have said low down for street and rev's for racing, but it does depend on type of racing... If something with tight turns and lots of them, then low down would be better... Just my thoughts on the matter...
  17. I run a MAP sensor and i have no problems with idle or part throttle (besides the rotational idle i run)... My fuel economy is about the same before i changed over to MAP and i'm making more power and using bigger injectors....

  19. I run Autronic SM2 with my RB25DET and theres no problems tuning with the VCT, i actually decide when the VCT turns on and off via the laptop... I also find that when it turns off at 5000rpm i get a huge surge of power....
  20. Apparently its all good!!! But i wouldn't run anymore than .7bar until you get a metal head gasket... Your engine will be fine, just depends on how agressive you tune it... Let me put it this way, it cost me 3gs for my turbo, 1400 for my trust manifold, 700 for wastegate, then some extra for install and exhaust mods... Well i haven't got any plans for a trip up north yet... Trust me man, you won't need instructions... Theres like 2 wires for power, a cable for the solenoid and thats it...

  22. Hey DAN!!!! Well i got a Garrett GT30 rated to 600HP, its externally gated and you will definitely need a new manifold!! I just picked up a second hand Trust item, paid a little more than i wanted, but its in really good nick... I'm getting the manifold and exhaust housing ceramic coated... I've already moved to top feed GTR 440cc injectors, if they are too small then i can get cheap RX7 550cc injectors... Because the GT30 can flow so much air you will definitely need a bigger AFM, maybe you should ditch the AFM and go MAP, like me!!! Also from what i've heard, running at the same boost you should see about an extra 75-100rwhp... I'm planning on running no more than .7bar, last thing i wanna do is fold a con rod and have it say hello out the side of the block... I'm also thinking about a metal head gasket... Then i could run a little more boost...
