Bugatti Veyron.... 4wd, W16 engine with 4 turbos, mid-mounted... 1002HP, 411km/h its all good!!!! OR MacLaren F1 LM..... mmmmm Oh yeah if i had lots of money i would be doin cars up left right and centre....
-
but it produces 89000 HP!!!! Then i could win EVERY dyno comp!!!
-
Hey guys, don't know if this is appropriate or not, but this blew me away!!! All i can say is that i want this engine in my line!! http://www.jerry-howell.com/12-Cylinder.html

Well guys i can tell you that I HAVE got a permit for my exhaust, he didn't test it, just listened to it and allowed it... I have a Blitz BOV which vents to atmo and i have a permit for that... I think i can scan in my permit for the non-believers... Butters: I got mine through Welshpool pits...
-
Yep i certainly got a permit for my exhaust, it defines that my exhaust outlet is 120mm and it below the legal noise limit, same with my BOV...
-
Thats why you get a radar detector like me... So far i haven't been done for speeding in the Skyline and like Rob my fastest speed has been 206km/h (RSM)... But in total i have lost 5 points since i've had my licence in 1999... 2 in my Volkswagon Beetle Baja, 3 in my 88' Pulsar Vector... Most recently when coming back from Kalbarri with a friend, we hadn't seen a cop in like 4 days, then he decides to point out the fact that we hadn't seen one in ages... I turn to him annoyed saying that hes jinxed the car, what happens literly 5 mins later, i cop pings me for doin 17 over the limit on double demerit points...

I got my permit from Welshpool after getting a yellow... I think it cost me $25 or something like that... I got permits for my pod, exhaust, BOV and caster rods...

This is an awesome thread and i have been following it closely coz i'm plannig on going the RB30 conversion near the end of the year... I know for a fact that the Rb26 gearbox can handle 650HP at the rear wheels, but if abused the 3rd gear will strip itself... as for the 25 box, i know they are strong, but not sure how much power they will handle... Does anyone know if the Rb26 box can go onto the 30 block???

Hmmmmm let me see, well i used to play Ice Hockey for Australia and Western Australia in National Competitions till a back injury (slipped disc in lower back) stopped me from playing... I also used to Speed Skate for Western Australia in National Competitions... These days i'm either in front of the computer, tv or cinema... I enjoy playing golf when i get the chance, paintballing, hanging out with friends and annoying the guys down at C-Red... i need sleep!! I'm the sorta person that doesn't like going to sleep, but then HATES getting up in the morning, especially if its before 10am...

That would be I!!!! I usually get told off by the security guards for drifting in and out of the carpark... :shake: Whats your dad's name and what department is he in??
-
I forgot to bring down my portable compressor and a guage so i could let down the tyres, so i just guessed and let them down a little bit, it did help a bit, but i DEFINITELY need to practice my launches!!!

Alan... Work at Thornlie TAFE as a Lecturer in Computer Networking... Skyline nut
-
I went down for the first time ever too!!! My best time was 14.166 @ 101.12mph... Crappy 60' of 2.416secs and reaction time of 1.129secs... My main problem is suspension is setup for circuit racing, sssoooo much traction problems... The drags finished tonight... Now they are on Sundays from the 11th of May... EDIT: Whoops, my bad, my best time was 14.147 @ 100.67mph reaction time of 0.905, 60' of 2.427secs... Alan.

From what i can remember the jammers are illegal and the cops can usually detect the radar jammers, but the radar detectors are passive, so there is no way to detect them other then noticing them... Besides the radar detectors are legal...
-
that coz he lives in sydney, if your in perth and have a radar detector, theres NOTHING the cops can do coz its legal!!!
-
THats what most people get, they're good coz your can easily move them from car to car... This is mine, the sensor in the top left corner is whats in the fron bar...
-
My main sensor sits outside in my front bar... I got two others on the windscreen and the rear windscreen...
-
Not a problem at all!!!

The multinova's work on the Ka frequency and the radars on the side of the cop cars use the K frequency... I've found that as soon as i hear the Ka frequency go off i instantly jump on the brakes and look for the multinova... The K frequency is used quite often around perth in the automatic sliding door sensors and some alarms will set it off... So sometimes its hard to find the cop cars with the radars hanging off the side... The detectors usually have the same features, but make sure it has K and Ka bands... Sorry about the grammer, been at work since 8am and don't finish till 9:30pm so my brain has melted...

Well i got a Beltronics Vector LR Remote Beltronics... Cost me $800.00 from strathfield (housemate works there so i got a good price) and it works really well... It usually picks them up about 300 metres away depending on factors like cars in front, if its on a hill, bends in road, stuff like that... So far i haven't got a ticket in the Skyline :innocent: Touch wood... :bonk: Woody.
-
Don't know... Just sorta happened... Very weird, but i feel very lucky... Two lucky days in a row... First one was Sunday on the cruise, i left the backend step out in Kalamunda and a cop saw me, flashed his lights then pointed straight at me, but did nothing, then the bolt.... damn, like Jules said, i should go and buy a lotto ticket... :bahaha: Dan, Yeah dad loved it, he said it pulled so hard that he doesn't need to get a botox injection... :bahaha:

Well i went down to WASCC test and tune day at Waneroo Raceway yesterday with my parents coz they haven't see the 'line in action... So i borrowed some rims from Paul (THANKS DUDE, will wash and return them soon, when you need them back??), ran round on Saturday for some wheel nuts, which i finally found and then ran around on Monday morning to get my tyres (old shitty ones) fitted to the rims which i was just able to do and then get to the Track before the deadline... So after all that effort, i had a few goes and sorta noticed something wasn't quite right with the steering and braking, nothing major and i had a look and shook a few things, but everything seemed fine, so i give the keys to dad for a go and he comes back after 5 laps saying its pulling to the right quite badly, so i go out and almost drive off the track... So after a bit of testing things aren't looking too good so i leave and drive the car home with the steering wheel on a 25-30degree angle... When i finally get home i put my rear rims back on and then jack up the front and take the wheel off i notice a big-ass bolt hanging outta the lower control arm... The bolt was only in the hole by about an inch!!! Fark me that could have ended in tears if the bolt fell out while i was racing or driving... DAMN!!! Sorry about the length, just thought i might share my brush with a possible disaster.... Still had a great time at the track before things went wrong... And the cruise on Sunday!!!!!!!!
-
I'm not after expensive rims, just some cheap shitty knock around ones... But thanks anyway No_Rspect...
-
reallly, that would be awesome!!! Well i'll look after them like they were mine!!! I'll send ya a PM and get some details off ya... Woody. P.S. If anyone still does have rims for sales i'm still interested...
