    Thank you, all. if I asked my mechanic to keep the parts he takes off, would this sound weird? I don’t want him to think I don’t Trust him but at the same time I want to be certain that the parts were replaced with brand new ones. Also, if they happen to be in reasonable condition I wouldn’t mind selling them off on gumtree…

    From what I've been reading I need to use a brush to gently apply the chemical, and then wipe with a microfibre cloth, so as to avoid any damage. But what is the best chemical to use?

    So the weather strip to which the rain guard gets attached, should there be a gap/channel between this weather strip and the roof? Or should it be flush against the roof?

    Someone ripped off stole ONE of the wind deflectors of my gtr r33. I don’t really want to spend any money at the moment and am wondering, is it beat I remove the one that’s still there or remove it, for consistency? would love to hear your thought

    I'd like to have my R33 engine spray cleaned and am looking for a car detailed. Anything in particular I need to ask in order to make sure they know what they're doing? Eg. Should they only ever steam clean? What about spraying all electrical with WD40 so it repels water? What do I need to look out for to ensure they don't damage anything?

    I'm considering hiring a steam cleaning machine and cleaning my R33 GTR seats myself. Has anyone done this before and how did they turn out? I'm afraid of damaging the adhesive that's holding the fabric to the foam... Also, any tips on best shampoo and/or where to hire the steam cleaning machine from would be appreciated.
