JC71 replied to mutex's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
you list "passenger quarter glass" twice, do you have a drivers side also? -
yes, and only find one old post from a guy with a black gtt that had the full kit on his car. but nothing "for sale" I also contacted East bear and they don not or can they make this "original GTR style" front bumper, only their new Z tuned style.

R34 basic info, fuel, oil, plugs, coolant etc in the US
JC71 replied to JC71's topic in General Maintenance
I have goggled all of these things and read stuff for many hours before I posted my first, in doing so I gain no real clear answers, this is why I posted here as I was told it was suppose to be a community of people who knew these intricate details, it is clear that everyone has their own opinion, I am not looking for opinions, I am looking for facts. like stock fluids that came in the car when new. if you don't know please don't reply, and don't send me a link to Google or search engine. -

R34 basic info, fuel, oil, plugs, coolant etc in the US
JC71 replied to JC71's topic in General Maintenance
I do not find any info on fuel that pertains to pump fuel that is available in the US, we are really lucky to find 91 octane, never seen anything higher then 92, will this be a concern because of the fuel lower resistance to detonation? everything I read for else where it sounds like 98 is commonly found. 87 to 89 is what is normally available around here. once in a while I find "Non-oxygenated gasoline" but this only pertains to it supposedly not having any additives but an increase in fuels oxygen content. the fuel has no ethanol and is to reduce corrosion problems. but doesn't affect octane rating. I am also thinking that as most other "newer" cars I have the computer is constantly adjusting the timing for ignition depending on various sensors and readings, therefore preventing pre-ignition knock. is this same for the ER34 GTT skylines? never had a turbocharged car, looking for sound advise. -
hoping to find this info, I have tried to estimate based on pictures and scaling things but I want accurate measurements before cutting hood, thanks

cool, that's what I thought, what pump did you go with? I am looking at a walbro 255lph as it seems to be the "smallest" I can find and figure that's probably close to stock. appears to be a in tank replacement. https://www.ebay.com/itm/255lph-500HP-Uprated-Genuine-Walbro-Fuel-Pump-For-R34-GTT-Skyline-RB25DET-Neo-/111883558315 -

I am going to guess and say that the wiring, fuel rail, injectors etc. all don't "need" to be replaced when replacing the pump to allow function of the pump to work properly rather needed if looking to gain possibility of "more power" when changing out other items. and does any one know the stock LPH fuel pump rating on a R34 RB25DE and a R34 RB25DET? -

ok, now we are getting some good tech info, so the fuel pump , different from a rb25de and rb25det version? what are the stock fuel pump differences/numbers? so what's the recommended pump to put in with the rb25det?.... I see Walbro 255lph pump listed a lot, is that a widely used unit? -

no matter which trans and therefore push or pull style I end up going with, what is anyone's experience with the brand SPEC for clutches? or one they can recommend for essential a "stage 1 clutch", looking for stock or a little better, do want to keep the pedal feel as soft and easy /close to stock feel. -

I will be trying to find a stock shifter setup for my new FS5R30A 5 speed gear box (GTT RB25DET) other wise I may have to go aftermarket, if I cant find a stock one, I do find the brand "Cube" shifter for a R34 RB25det , any one have any comments regarding that shifter? or recommend a different shifter setup? -
or running lights? ultimately, what turns it on and off?
-
on a R34 rear bumper the red light on the right, is this light to be on with headlights only? or is it on a separate switch?

I never mentioned Cusco brand....its not just 20 dollars its around 150 for me as I am in the US, no one has them and I have to order from another country. so no ones knows if the thread and or diameter on a s15 E brake would be the same as a R34? -
any reason I should get a GTT rear diff and put in a aftermarket LSD instead, of putting a aftermarket LSD into my GT rear diff?

can any one define what parts and what makes it actually "stronger" or is it just simply less prone to break when abused?
