Tragic

Well not quiet cause im already here, but my car will be here soon. I've booked it on the India Pacific as its the cheapest way i could find to get it over and should be arriving on the 10th of next month (fingers crossed i don't get bumped) Appart from just being excited to see my car again, had to tell someone even if i don't know anyone here yet I was more interested to see if anyone had experiance with shipping there car by train? Anything I should be watching out for? I've already checked that Just Car will cover it while its in Transit and NRMA home and contents cover all the stuff i have chucked in it while in transit

Hi Guys, I've played around with car stereo a fair bit but all my other installs have been with commies, with the center seat folding down to allow direct access to the car. With the skyline im wondering, i could go the traditional route and just chuck a 12" in a box in the boot but with all the stuff in the back im wondering if it would be better to chuck a couple of 8" subs or maybe 2 10" (with some metal work) in the rear parcel shelf. They would probably be free air (unless i could get some trick boxes made up) but they would save space and fire directly into the cabin. I know subs don't need line of sight to get good sound but those metal panels can only quiet it down and i'd rather play to myself then to the neighbourhood.... Comments/opinions? (edit) I know i will have to pump more power to them being free air but im happy to buy additional amp's to gain the boot space. More concerned with the bass output

Is that for the box with the additional heat shielding? or just the revision 2 box?

I'd have to say it looks even better then the original one, I like it when are they available and when do we get a price for the deluxe version? *Scrounges through wallet*

What doodz said R43Nos did offer but i couldn't make the 5am run and from the sounds of it his car was a little full But my car shall be over here in about a week, so hopefully i will get to meet all you guys at a cruise or the next event.

Hmm have you got the cover off? Its been a while since i've had to remove my coils but if memory serves me you can use a 8mm socket or a phillips head screw driver on them?

If you have a elbow joint with your toolkit you will be able to remove the coil packs with out removing the pipe.

Sorry to sound like a pov but here is the deal... I just moved to Sydney from Perth and my cars still over there. I'd love to go to the show and meet the SAU community over here but its kinda hard without and wheels. I have been recommended Motul 300v oil for my car and i was wondering if anyone knew where i can get some from in Perth?

Excuse my ignorance but what is the type m turbo? Is this a series one or series two turbo?

Does the turbo come with a waste gate or does it need a external waste gate?
