  1. Did you get it off locally or through a private importer?
  2. OMG ... FG going for 740!? With additional CF linings going for 1.2 large!? What car are your driving? R33??
  3. bonnet pin or hood pins?
  4. yes ya right. It all depends on each perspective and how ricey they wish their rides to be. No offense to those with such bonnets, because I also have the bonnet for my own and selling them too!! Rice or not rice, I guess its also considered an art, just like drifting. you might be surprised at how artistic ricey some cars worldwide can grab your attention and leave you lingering with thoughts ... heheheheeee my .5cts worth
  5. btw ... personally ... I think the wreckers here in perth thinks all their customers are brainless f**ks!!! Esp. the one in bayswater that is run by viet couple (no offense). ridiculously quoted me a price for a half cut 1 day and the next day another price!
  6. I wonder how many people in Australia actually import and use authentic 100% CF/CV bonnets like Mugen/Spoon or similar!?!? I know one guy in Syd that paid 3K for a Spoon CF bonnet for his Honda! haha *RICH*
  7. cops - Dont think they give a shit about what you will explain. The moment they set their eyes on your car and stop you, they will try every single dumbest reason to defect you. The whole rationale is, they are cops!!! hahahaaa
  8. hahahaa ... the prices on the website - $3,700.00 a pop for the dry CF bonnets ermmm .... I think i would be better of getting a generic wet CF bonnet from Taiwan and use the rest of the money for a holiday or some other mods. heehee
  9. Yes ... Bonnets other than your factory ones are not approved. Reasons being they shatter during accidents, causing sharpnel type of injuries, crumple/bend zone is not there. But there are some who swear by their CF bonnets that the 100% CF are actually much more tougher than factory OEM bonnets. This is really yet proven and documented. Just my .5cts worth =)
  10. Carbon Fibre (CF) top lining with Fibre Glass (FG) bonnets are supposed to be cheaper. Try not to pay over 800 for one. I sell those on Hondas for only 500 OEM and 550 vented A full 100% 3K grade CF will set you back above 1K Carbon Kevlar is different realms and is also above 1K Attached is pictures of the end product of a Celica 00-02 and a nearly ending product of an EG 4 door vented bonnet. Apart from being light, the vents "are supposed" to improve air circulation by allowing heat from the heads to dissipitate efficiently, therefore maybe explaining the use of vents for Evos. But dont quote me on that, as I have no credible sources for the info on vents.

  12. ermm ... get a quokka, go to parts sections. look for ads that has DL on it. they are the dealers. Some in malaga, some in bayswater ...
  13. ermmm ... if i dont drive any car, know nuts about rb and cant speak a single japland lingo, but on a confirmed flight to tokyo for the TAS, am i welcome to join the group?? :innocent:
  14. if there's a big turnout, wouldnt it be cheaper to charter a mini bus instead? Many people going = many people chip in = economies of scale for the charter = everyone benefits = everyone gets to go places ermmm ... my .5cts worth =X
