Yeah i have been hasselled and accused for something that never happened. Driving down the coast one night in my old car (stock 94 supra) and passed a cop car that was parked on the side of the road that had his lights flashing from an earlier incident. 3 mins later, a car comes screaming up my arse and sits there for a few mins. Next thing... flash.. pull me over and at this point im not worried as i was not speeding, doing anything stupid and my car is stock and 100% legal. Cop stands behind my car and shouts like he's real pissed to get outta my car... shit.. he made me feel like i stole my own car. Got out and he said that a camera flash came from my car as i drove past and that it is illegal to take a photo of the police.... whether this is true or not i dont have a clue!! I told him that no one in my car has a camera, he told me not to tell lies and shit... i kept my cool and stayed polite the whole time explaining that the flash may have been a reflection off my car as i drove past but he wouldnt have any of it and kept accusing me of taking a photo. Searched in my car briefly.. found no camera as there never was one then did a license check.. all clear.. asked me where i was heading..gold coast.. then accused me again of being a boy racer and that all people that drive imports do illegal drags etc etc. BULLSHIT. and anyone that knows me, i hate to admit but im a bit of a nanna when i drive lol.. anyway after being made to feel like i stole my own car, accuse me of taking a photo and being a boy racer, he let me on my way. He was one arrogant prick...maybe he was having a bad day and i was the unlucky one that copped it.. sometimes i wonder if he was testing my temper.. phew, when i got into my car i was one angry man... but what can you do??? I have always had respect for the police but after that incident im starting to wonder.

Hey Guys Just heard from the old man that the government is going to scrap the 15 year old rule. Apparently they are going to ban cars that are 15 years or older from entering Australia. This is suppose to happen in 2 months.... This is what my old man heard as he knows a few people in the business so whether it's 100% right or he's misunderstood im not too sure so don't fully take my word for it.. If someone has heard a similar story let me know.. thanks No hate mail if im wrong time will tell i guess

quite a lot of imports are half cuts put together... im not suprised at all as i know someone that did a few a few years back.. He assured me though if the job was done 100% right and with care then it was all good... Problem with that is.... there are a lot people out there rushing jobs to make the quick $$$ There's some dodgy workmanship out there on the roads!! But back to the point about AJM... had a few friends that have bought cars from there... one car was great and the other car was a shitter!! But its pretty much like that on most yards... get the good with the bad and vice versa.. I think they are a tad bit expensive though.. thats my 2cents worth!!

Cool cool... I didnt see that part of the forum... thanks.. I was going to ask the joint where the car is at but have had no luck getting to them!! I have just heard that the paper work can be a bit of a hold up and the wait on the plate to be sent up from where ever it comes from after its passed the compliance inspection. I just feel like a little kid again at christmas... just cant wait much longer :wassup:

The car im getting is just about to go into the place to be complianced... just wondering does anyone know how long this process normally takes... Cheers

my old man fixed a 35 skyline around 6 months ago... cant get them on the road here so shipped it over to nz.. I could be wrong but dad was saying something about been sold as renaults????? dont know.. he gets pretty confused now in his old age... must be all that bog dust

Hey guys Just wondering about where the needle should be on the standard boost gauge while the car is idle... and where it should peak when giving it the guns (car is completely standard) what should the stock boost be?? Im new to the whole turbo scene so any help would be sweet as!! Thanks
