my car is not going to be used for drag or circuit purely street crusing with the occasional squirt? Is it beneficial???
-
lol ok then... seeing as though I am removing the gearbox to change my clutch and the nismo lightweight flywheel will cost an extra $350-$400 it is worth getting it on my car that will only be used for street purposes??? Yes or No? Feedback is great...

What are the major draw backs???

had the same problem when i got my boot enclosure done. My dad played around with the latch in the boot clicking it in out and making sure it was all in line properly and it works fine now... play round with the latch first...

Yeh that's what I thought, are they worth the money tho if car is not dedicated to all out power???
-
lol fair enough, stick to pioneer, kenwood or sony i guess....

lol, not as bad as it sounds you could do it in the time it took me to write it lol. I strongly recommend Focal, but it all depends on your budget. Focal and Boston prob the best by far, and even infinity and rockford aren't to bad in speakers... How much do you want to spend???

I fitted 6.5 inch components right in. 6.5 inch speakers fits straight on both front and back. If you want 6x9s you have to modify your parcel shelf at the back, then there's the problem how the parcel tray will sit on top, remember you don't want nothing to be touching your speakers, and interfere with them... If you want, when buying take your original speaker and compare the hole position for you to screw down the speakers, if they match you'll be fine. Yes, you do have to remove the rear seat to gain access to the rear speakers, not to hard, 2 bolts hold the bottom under the rear seat, then once that's off, exposes 2 other bolts on the bottom of the top piece, one on either side. Lift and bend seat a little then slowly force out. Remember to lift as there is a hook that holds the rear seat in the position it's in. The parcel tray may be a bit of a bastard removing, push down on the sides and pop the pillar clip out then gently bend a little bit and then slowly force out again...

Yeh, i gotta replace the clutch now its slipping a fair bit. I'm looking at getting the nismo sports clutch kit, and the flywheel works out to be $350 extra. I heard the other way around, that because the flywheel is lighter, makes it easier for the power to be transmitted through the drivetrain and to the rear wheels, in the end leading to better power to weight ratios. On the dyno figures would be minimal but on the street was told acceleration changes significantly??? Is this true?

Either way the thing looks like its gonna erupt any second lol...

Midnight Purple Iii Cannot Find Supplier
MR R34 replied to dorifto13's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Mate alot of the times the colours you are looking for, are exclusive to manufacturers only. For example, my mate had his GTR sprayed a rare purple colour that Ford only produced, and the only way to get is was from Ford directly... Try contact the manufacturer that made that colour (if it has been made by a car manufacturer) if not any good spray painter will be able to mix you up a colour (will be cheaper) that is 100% identical... -
Yeh, is it worth getting one on a car making 230rwkw???

Hey, Just want to know, what are peoples thoughts on the advantages of a flywheel? Do you guys believe there are any power gains to be made on a dyno? From what I've read there is no dyno difference however on the street, it is like having 101lbs less weight on the street??? Cheers...
