Nope you'll find you get alot more responce when it is closest to the compressor housing. Try it and see.

General labour cost for the conversion would be about 1500 with wire. Then you need fmic too..

Cut 2 slots in it opposite each other and use a clamp type bearing puller. -
Different air temperatures being consumed by the motor.. Intercoolers affect it..

Check your pedal box for cracking too. -
I pushed my old motor with a master power to 350rwhp on 13psi with stock ecu setup. Loose the Link get a standard loom on there with a pfc.

Who screwed the tie rod into the hicas lock bar? They arnt gonna check if the installer installed it correctly, they will only adjust the outer end of the tie rod. -
Set the gap to 0.8 mm. Should solve both of your dramas..

In the engine bay wiring near the afm there is a rectangular plug(big pins) give the white and purple wire constant 12v..

Get it changed as it was factory and you will feel the difference imediately.. Has nothing to do with hose length. its the feed location..

How did they connect up wastegate actuator? It needs to be connected to the cooler pipe just after the turbo not inlet manifold? PS factory position is in the cooler pipe.

Turbo 33's all have vvt and the s2 engines have a very similar turbo to the 34's(plastic front wheel). My 289rwhp(stock turbo) took my car to a 12.7 @ 107 mph. It was a commodore ute but still weighed over 1400kg's..
