  3. I have some in excellent condition will be off my car next week. They have re003 225’s on them which have done 1200 km. Still brand new. I’m in Melbourne
  4. Yeh that’s the plan Nismo man. I’m comfortable with 255 should fill the guards sweet with no rubbing.
  5. Thx robzilla I thought it was weird. Anyway didn’t buy them yet so I’ll chase some up over the next week or so. I will update pics when fitted and on the beast.
  6. ???lesson learned gtsboy
  7. Yeh that’s what I reckon Josh. 35 profile I the same rolling diameter as the factory 225/50/16. Yeh fxxk him I’ll go somewhere else and get 255’s. After reading all threads I’m confident they won’t scrub on fronts at full lock.
  8. Lads. I have been searching the threads about tyre size on rims etc etc. Yes there is heaps of info and it’s been great. Just brought some 18x 9.5x+12 work wheels. I went to Bob Jane and said I want some 255/35/18 on them and he said he wouldn’t fit them. WTF I thought. He reckons not legal ( this is Victoria the nanny state). Im curious has anyone else put 255 on 18 recently and have you had any issues. Are they illegal. Not that I give a fxxk anyway.
  9. As Steve85 said just do it. Trust us you won’t regret it if you get the right one. 2 years later for me and I still get movement in my jox every time my ass is in the bucket seat.
  10. After reading all of this thread I can understand your thought process. Do I jump in now and get one before they go up more? Can I afforded to repair? Etc etc. this was me 2 years ago. I got a 32 as a weekender. I have found the costs are generally me wanting to upgrade things( rotors, pad, turbos) etc which aren’t necessary really. The problem is 32’s are so awesome to drive you get a bug to want to make them faster.? It actually cost bigger all if it’s a weekender. Vic clubbies are like $100 a year. Insurance had jumped heaps now for a GTR. I personally will never daily mine and I suggest no one would these days. That said... an Evo will never be a GTR. End of story. Keep saving your pennies and get a GTR?
  11. What a piece of shit. I hate people like this
  12. Yeh thanks that’s wired ha. Michael has been good in the past. I’ll check the others out?
  13. Thanks men... I understand the Nismo sate older tech but they still do the job. Yeh Bosch were my other option which I’ll look at getting from kudos.
  14. Ha well loyal to Nismo??? Suggestions?
  15. I’m only going 300 kw on -9. Should get enough fuel in ha? I’ve heard the stock injectors get to 300 although they are maxed out
  16. Hi all, I’m getting Nismo 555 injectors for my girl. Question.... are the Tomei pink tops the same? Would I need to upgrade fuel rail with Tomei injectors? thanks
  17. ???I understand but I just figure for $100 bucks why not I got it cheap anyhow. If I was worried about $$ I wouldn’t have a gtr as we all know??
  18. Yeh I’m aware they are opposite terminals. And yes they have the small posts for jap fittings?. I understand exactly what your saying but I’ll give it a crack as I’ve only heard good things?
  19. So I’m getting the Prius yellow top optima battery. $440 and getting it for $320 from battery world. #winning?
  20. I’ve read the Optima yellow top which fits a Prius fits? DS46B24R??
  21. Hi all, im sure it’s been done to death but need a new battery for my GTR. Happy to pay for a good one that doesn’t matter. Still in stock position under bonnet, not relocated. advice would be great!!
  22. Nice story mate. Love how the mrs let you by a hoist to work on it.... she’s a keeper. Looks good and I’m sure with your history and knowledge you will build a beast. What you going to do the engine and what power you looking at?
  23. Just need to upgrade hot side for GTR and ECU upgrade. Simple. Won’t get 500 but will be fun enough.
