hi guys got a problem with my r32 skyline. im guessing i know wat it is but i want u guys to tell me. ( AFM is f*ked) ok the symptoms are; as soon as the car hits boost it has massive misfireing and then it wants to stall. after it has stalled its hard to start. after it has started the cars rpm goes from 1000 too 2000rpm and back down. i have a air/fuel gauge and its showing its goin from lean to rich and its backfiring heaps now. i just gave the car a service with new plugs etc.. so i thinking its dumping to much fuel and making the car misfire and stall??? also my car has all the mod's u can think of. as i cbf listing all of em. its making 240rwkw's cheers bill

do a Search for rb24. u wont be needing custom pistons just find a brand wat makes 83mm pistons. i think the AG86 pistons is the ones u want.

i just sold my spare AFM it was in good nik for $50 so im sure theres lots out there u could find.

is there anything i can buy to add to the water it get rid of the rust? like C.L.R or any acids?

once its comes clear. would the rust residue come back?

Hey guys Okay long story short I toke off the head to get reco'd and the time it was away the water gallery’s got rusty on the block so when I bolted it up I had rust residue in my coolant. My question is how do I go about cleaning it/flushing it out??? cheers bill

they have everything to do with bore size. "Cubic centimeters. It's a measure of displacement. The larger the bore and the stroke, the greater the displacement" end of the day people are pay alot of my for a stroker kit and they want the most out of it. yes reliability is one of them but having more cc with a bigger bore size always win's.

Tomei hasnt released that much info on rating but i have reading up on it alot and seem find its rating is about 600ps (441kW) to 800ps ( 588.40KW) anyone making over 400kw in there GTR will be more than happy to keep it at that level. so theres no point getin the HKS step 2 or 3 for that extra pwoer level you say you payed $7500 for the HKS kit which is not bad. but i would of gone the Tomei kit for that same price

u guys are missing the point the guys wants to know which is the best stroker kit out there. i think the Tomei is still better than the HKS. as the tomei item has a Bore 87.5mm with brings the cc to 2807 $ 7,649 which is cheaper than the HKS step 3 which the HKS stroker kit Step 1 Bore 86.0mm, Step 2 Bore 86.5mm, Step 3 Bore 87.0mm $10,000

im also planing to go stoker kit for my r34. my goal is 400-450kw's @ all wheels. i was looking at the HKS 2.8 but i think the tomei one is better? and the RB30 doesnt like high rpm i heard sumone on the forum sayn about destoke rb30 cranks to fit rb26 which makes it a 2.9L????

+1 Octane Booster is a waste of money. i used sum in my r32 and it did fk all and burnt out my sparkies. u want more power put up the boost

i got the same pad. never had a probelm with squealing. if u bed the pads in properly they will last a long time. try goin for a nice long drive and dont brake hard just ride the brakes + down gear at the same time to stop for the first 200kays and u should be fine
