well there's more grey smoke then blue. i had a mate drive behine me and told me he could see blue smoke when it started to boost

no the catchcan hasnt got oil in it. its got some kinda clear water in it. in the 1st pic do u see the blue vacume hose comin off the airfillter pipe? that runs to the catchcan and there's no oil in the piping/cooler

where abouts is the ventilation valve? is it on the intake side? if so i have a aftermarket plenum. see pic

well my oil level is showin high on the dip stick. and it dip stick did blow out when i was getin a tune

when im driving normal there's a none to small amount of smoke. but as soon as i give it a Squirt its like a steam train behind me so if blue smoke is oil wats grey smoke? turbo is a new highflow so thats all good. head has been reco'd with new seal's and gaskets inc metal head gasket. did a comp test. im not losing any power im still making 230rwkw's and just the smoke is pissin me off coz its just another reason to get pulled over by the cops cylinder 1 -125psi cylinder 2 -123psi cylinder 3 -118psi cylinder 4 -125psi cylinder 5 -125psi cylinder 6 -126psi wat u guys think about the test? cheers bill

remap ur ecu and u can goto 9000

a little bit when its cold. but as it warms up more gery smoke comes out. and when i give it a Squirt gery/blue smoke

how would i know 4sure? any tests i can do?

how much power u making?

no u dont need a aftermarket ecu or remap to run the plenum. i installed my one and working fine for a month b4 i went and got a remap+tune. just the idle was abit off thats all. also keep in mine that the piping goes where the battery is so u will have to put the battery in the boot. about 6hrs of work if u dont have ur misses in ur ear all day

sounds like shaft play. turbo is on the way out mate. best way to check take off the inlet pipe and see if u can pull and push the turbo wheel in and out or sideways. then u will know 4 sure. then save up for a gcg highflow

well i have one on my R32 and i think its a good upgrade. i gained 30kw after i have my tune to get it running right. i say if u got the money go for it. but other people will say spend ur money on other things. have a look at my dyno sheet attached cheers bill

ive only heard good things about GCG turbochargers. which made me get my turbo highflowed. sent off my turbo and got my turbo back in 3days and hasnt missed a beat after 2years on the boost

my car is already pushing 232rwkw's and i dont think it will last to long. i know that u have to put the pistons through the top. but i cbf pulling everything out again. i dont see the difference would be if u go through the bottom? cheers bill

hi guys I have a R32 gts-t and had the engine reco'd about 2months ago to standard spec. I made a big mistake not putting in forged pistons in. my question is which might sound abit dumb is it possible to change the piston's with out taking off the head again and pulling out the motor? e.g., like put the car on a hoist and taking off the gearbox, oil pan and oil pump. And unblot the crank and pulling out the pistons.? cheers bill
