I was going to bite... but.... what the hell. How could I ever compete with something like your R33 Michael. I can only dream of having the same budget, Power and Grip you do. So laugh away, Laugh at my skyline that can only have realy bad suspension geometry because it is so low. Or maybe I've read widely, spent hours making and developing my own parts to overcome the rollcentre issues and other normaly untuneable aspects of an R33. So yeh, it is a drift thing that forces the guys at the pointy end of drift to research, make and test stuff to get thier cars to do what they want them to do. Because after all, what happens when drifters get over drift and start to explore other avenues of motorsport???? They get laughed at by knobs who think drifters are just silly kids with way too low cars.

Only your sphincter makes those noise's, I hear Toyota's do that to their drivers. The rear guards just touch the leters on the side wall..... just with some sidewall flex too. Its not hurting anything.

It is a rubbing sound. The rear tyres just touch sometimes.

Good point, as I recall he ran about 1:07 in qual and consistant 8's & 9's in the races. Where would I find NSW IPRA data? Obviously I'm about to Google it.

Most ppl posted times in 65ish sec or less. Some the faster GTRs were down into the 61's.....there was a red 32 GTR nudging into the 60's with me in my 33 GTST As for photo's, I was too busy driving. Have some footage that needs converting off a digital camcorder (tape type) but I dont know how yet.

Congrats to Paul and all who made it a very very cool day. There was an awsome amount of track time and even though some found the wall at carosell, i think everyone enjoyed the chance to have a good strap around a fantastic old track.

1.10 something??? did you have someone in the stands with a stopwatch? I am in he B series, (no different to the A series, there is just too much inerest) and all you would have got from the officals is a 3 lap total time. Not trying to bag ur time in any way, just wondering how you came up with it. My best a few weeks ago in the B sprints was 3min 36sec for 3 laps with a standing start. I'm guessing it would equait to lap times some thing like 1:14 standing lap, 1:12 tyres warming up lap 1:10 tyres still warming up final lap.

There is heaps of drifting going on in the SEQ corner. Archerfield run buy Option 1 Parklands on the Gold Coast run by race line Queensland raceway has friday night practice events and state series for sorts. Check all the promoters websites and secretdrift website for more info.

Exactly the case with my car. It did take a while to get sorted but it is so much better having the cage in. The chasie responds to setup changes and is much easies to tune. I have also found that I have needed to take some rear brake out of it too.

Some of us were at the Gatton street sprints on the weekend, and I think most ppl set new pb's. The record was definetly shaken by a few seconds, Awsome laps there Mark.....Russ had a good go too. Well its not the most embarassing thing to do, have an off, at least you were having a red hot go. Not putting the bonnet pins in...... theres a story. I lost some of it along the way and need to have it in better shape for Gatton this weekend, So it is dodge it up time in the shed. I will have to get a new one soon. I promise.

Full cage, 8 point, Goes through to the front strut towers. Came in at $1500 about 2 years ago. So hard to find any decent pics.

I got Bruce Dumbit at NRW Rollcages in QLD to make and install mine. was hassle free. I priced up a bond cage too and thought it was a bit pricy for something that was not fitted etc.
