  5. We have been playing with bump steer adj over the last little while. Typical me, "can't be that hard to make". MkI was pretty basic and worked well...... until there was a big excursion at speed hitting the back of a ripple strip at an odd angle. Result below. So then the thinking was we would try a commercially available option. Just Jap sent these ones that were cool but way to short. My brain did its usual trick and put me infront of the lathe again, And this is what came out after 2 0r 3 nights of toil and frustration. 9Mine left, JJ right) And fitted in the pig. I'm slightly ashamed to admit, Its a Toyota. With all Nissan underpinnings!!!!
  6. Times, well. The boss, she was running in the low 38's with an un tuned 3s drift pig on street 595 shitters. Tough class for her, sportsedan over 3L. I got into the 35's. 2nd in class and 3rd outright. Lost to true track cars. 1st, FC RX7 sportsedan 35.13, 2nd, 500 hp VK IPRA 35.68, 3rd, My R33GTST road reg, full weight inc spare wheel and jack, 36.72. PB in my Yellow Race R33GTST 34.6
  7. It's nice to see they come in hard to get maron world wide and not just OZ. Cutting compoung is good thing to use for pollishing the yellow off the headlights.
  8. I wish the date didn't clash with Noosa Hill. I want to see lots of pics, and you all better look like ur having a red hot go and loving every second of it. Movies too.
  9. Well Chris, I can't spaek for the others but, I work all day at my normal job (teaching kids how to bash shit with hammers) and then i go home, to my shed and, work on other peopls shit till about 6 or 7, have some dindin's and, go back to the shed and, play with my shit till the boss gets home from work at about 11:30 at night. Thats when I usually pull the laptop out and chill for a while before bed.
  10. Sara and I competed in a SuperSprint Round at Carnell last weekend. Sunday morning was -6Deg. I got up early, nature was calling. There was no running water in the loo, all the pipes had frozen! good pics though. Ladies and Gentlemen THE LOO!!!!! Welcome To STANTHORPE!!! The place with a crispy cold track And other cool stuff This needs no caption cold cars from Hailey & Dessie (Our cars) there tough, no sleeping bags. this 1 likes to rough it too. These pommy poofs like need a roof and blankets, and still there winging bastards. But we know how to stay warm. Even if the bottle is a bit icy Artistic shot again ozi ozi ozi drifter in waiting, I recon we can turn it to the drift side Hope to see you out there soon!!!
  11. Hows this for hand flared, no roller. But then again I was repainting the car.
  12. Do you guys have cages? I do in mine and door trims just don't fit any more. I padded the intrusion bar and glued a soft backed carpet to the door.
  13. that would be perfect, I just want 1 to dumby up in the engine bay while I build everything else.
  14. looking for a dead gtr head to use on a dumby motor, anyone have 1?
  15. But is a roller going to let you fit 17/9.5 +15off? how far can you successfully achieve?
  16. It is the pump, they wear out. I had the same issue in my race car, new pump, no problem.
  17. Obviously with a 33 GTST listed in his side bar, having joind only months ago and only 12 posts, it's doesn't take a genius to make the assumption it is an R33, GTST that the guy is working on. Now, 500rwkw out of a 25 is a seriously big number, good luck on that front. What are you going to be doing with it, track, drag, drift or boy racer street posing?
  18. I took the glass, electric regulator and loom out of my 33 doors which saved just under 10 kg per door.
  19. starting to look at the race car shell, looking and thinking about engine placement, "V"mounting the intercooler/radiator, steering/geometry and so on..... which to tackle first? I'm thinking engine first the fit all i around that. Or cross member?
  20. Ridiculously quick, and very pink. I wonder how John is these days?
  21. so the blue thing is the acusump?
  22. Took it to the Short Circuit Supersprints in Stanthorpe this weekend, 2nd in class and 3rd outright. 75+ competitors. Noosa hill in 2 weeks.
