Might be a newb question here mates but i am currently getting a slite bore and resurfacing machine job on one of my rb26 engines for 800hp with 6466, motor is a virgin. it is out of an r33 gtr. i ordered cp pistons and rings (86.5mm), manly rods, tomei 1.2mm headgasket, arp studs. so my question is i know i want to run nismo bearings both main and rod, i just dont know which ones to order they have 4 different part numbers that confuse me. I just want the standard size as I'm going to use a brand new crank, unless the guys that know there shit like piggaz etc talk me in a different direction. below are the links for the 1. rod bearings 2. main bearings, but not for the centre cap bearing that is different but I'm sure i can figure that out once i know what do get for the other main bearings3. link for centre main bearing. thanks mates much appreciated. Well I finally got the gtr back from paint after the crash it definitely feels awesome, lucky and blessed to have her back and not dead myself. I ended up buying a nice r33 engine I stripped for a build for the old girl. I’m willing to ship the long block to the Australia or uk area to known good machine shops for rb’s. I know someone’s gunna say any good machine shop can do it but nah already had a local shop wreck a rb26 when doing a hone job for a set of cp pistons. Just want someone who does rb’s all the time. Even if someone knows a good shop in the states somewhere but not my first choice. I already saved my coin for the build just need the shop to pull it off for me. Much appreciated thanks boys. My goal 86.5 bore forged bottom. Precision 6466. Tune on e85 30psi. Send gearbox for a rebuild wanna keep it 5 speed manual tho. -

throw a new 02 sensor on it and bin the old one. i did this and a new set of coil packs plugs, crank sensor n maf on my 05 sti first time the thing has gone 2 oil changes without a check engine light ffs. i must say the ej25 is a total snake of intertwined garbage and like to leak from valve covers etc, but around my neck of the woods great cars for our shit roads and crazy cold weather. very driveable fun cars for shit kicking. ive run 10w40 ams high zinc oil since day one and im at 175,000 miles head gaskets are fine never had an issue. the head gaskets are known for going cause most kids wack them off the limiter all day and dont know how to drive them or maintain the shit boxes.

Canada 1993 gtr ready for action

Yeah I agree with everything said for sure! I almost never bought the car because of the gtr logo placement. Was a dead give away it had been fixed in rear end. I found the body work rear left quarter was fixed prob got rear ended. The wheels are awful and yeah the paint and weather stripping are done. I dropped the car off for a glass out, doors and bumpers off paint job. Not a full restore but all I can afford right now with my black one just getting out of shop. I am going to put Rota p45r 18 inch on it, kakimoto race exhaust 3.5 inch, and some Coilovers as the thing sits crazy hi in the front! I don’t know if that’s just the stock suspension or what? You guys no better than me. Can really tell in the video how quiet a gtr really is with stock exhaust can’t even heat my wife down shift, and the video shows how awful it sits in the front. Car is not perfect but guys I paid 14 Canadian for it and it runs better than any gtr I’ve had! Pulled the pill and she has great pull at 1 bar we raced my wife’s stage 2 sti against it and the gtr was gone. IMG_0321.MOV -

She is all cleaned up now and bugs worked out! What a great stock gtr hard to find great shape inside and out. Thinking if I should paint this one up with new weather stripping now and give her the love she deserves IMG_0268.MOV -

ive put over 200,000km on these tires. there very average yes but in a 255 and with awd they grip just fine and perform quite well on dirty roads. like i stated ill have toyo r888s for pissing around on a different rim. i was driving my wifes stis rims on 225s on the gtr and i was doing just fine. driver can always adjust to whats underneathe him. imagine owning a 1000hp supra lol... -

yeah i know haha its crazy high in the front i dont know whats up with that. there is no transmission in it right now so hopefully looks normalish once i get the car running. but i doubt thats why its sitting so high something probably wrong. the struts look like there mounting incorrectly too. im going to get it running and work the bugs out, then the engine is going to australia for a build...let the slippery slope begin and the wallet decrease at a rapid rate. -

This is the 89 Gtr I was lucky enough to pick up off a friend who’s heart just wasn’t in the car anymore. He purchased it after his father passed and then the clutch went on him and it sat ever since behind a tractor dealership for years. Gunna get it running and will keep posted till we reach a nice single build on e85 with this one. Very clean for how long is sat outside. Will be a great project for my wife to learn the ways of the bnr32. I am lucky to have someone that lets me enjoy my true passion of r32 gtr’s. There is literally no gtr culture here where I live but it’s become part of my blood over time.... -
being from canada so close to the states, the moment that 89 gtr's were legal in the states they pretty much disappeared from canada. everyone sold there gtr and made a ton of money on them. some poeple were smart and bought many of them and actually got quite rich from the craz of shops wanting gtr's the moment they were legal. i think the price of them is way higher around here than anywhere. there is rusted out junk selling for 30k canadian. this however is not junk but check out the price on this 34 from canada. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/edmonton/1999-nissan-skyline-r34-gtr-vspec/1534025023

yeah when i ditched my 3.5 and went to the 4" my egt's were much lower during hard driving, and recovery time was much better for egt as well. holds boost better in top end with my twins but wont notice that with that beefy Garrett, she gunna pull like a maniac either way.... -
