  1. Everything looks great to me and turbos are in great shape have been gone through by my mechanic. Everything matches completely to one of the n1 specs but the compressor housing looks different to me? I could be wrong just want to know what I’m installing before i install the rats nest back together. They just have to get me by until I get my single turbo setup done and ready. I’ll be running 1.4 bar on these twins for now if I get confirmation they are good units and ready to boost hard! If they are legit I think they are the smaller of the 2 exhaust housing from my measurements but it says 64 a/r on the exhaust housing. One confused Canadian here or just an over tired tree cutter that shouldn’t be putting my car back together right now ha. Anyways the help is always appreciated mates.
  2. Can anyone confirm that these are legit n1 turbos? They do look all good i just noticed the compressor side looks nothing like my old n1 turbos. I know they aren’t ceramic and they are in good condition.Just want them to get me by until I get my single setup figured. I’ll be running 1.4 bar with the twins for now.
  3. ahh I gotta eat my foot here mate Im just thinking close minded. I always have liked the r32 gauges and wouldn't ever cover them personally. how ever defintily a good option for custom setup. I don't know if anything about it is that bad just love the old school gauges. when the night falls and the gauges are lit going down the road cruising im in my happy place.
  4. not really relevant to anything going on here but I guess that's alright.. I have a haltech and would never run that thing, i think its hideous lol....but than again im tuning with an evc and I have a haltec strictly because I think the evc looks cool so what the hell do I know haha....
  5. du lock makes a nice harness extension for the heat controls on a r32 gtr to move them to the glovebox making some nice space for gauges and controllers. https://www.nengun.com/do-luck/air-conditioning-switch-harness-kit im going this route on the next gtr nice and clean and how often do you ever use the heat controls.
  6. ohhhh what a mate now the comments are gunna come haha.......
  7. what me???? nooooooo........lol
  8. glovebox would have been cool but its just to far from the driver and I like keeping my shinanigans in there.
  9. I was trying to do this with my ash tray, but as its an evc 6 it doesn't fit well. something I did notice if I take the front cover off the ash tray the rest of it works as good backing for the controller. ended up buying a shit load of evc6 mounts off josh from gtruk. he also making me a custom centre vent mount for my hks gauges. will post when hes done im sure its gunna look nice he does great work. will be on build thread. I blew up one of my turbos so doing a bunch of work to the car right now.
  10. I never read each and ever post but heres what I would do, 1 figure out what your boosting frosure for more reasons than one, 2 add a lip where pipe is popping off. 3 hair spray the joint and try and spray a little air inbetween the cupler and the pipe helps dry the hair spray and really grabs(old bike grib trick). then ditch all the t clamps you have cause there shit and unnecesarry and grab some normal worm clamps tighten them down and give it a shot. no need to over think the issue....
  11. hey buddy im from Canada, car looks great love the detail in the paint. that baby needs a big single and a front facing manifold! super nice car mate.

  17. Just an FYI to everyone if you didn’t know, where you mount the step motor makes a big difference In how you need your gain set on your evc. Because mine is mounted so far away from the wastegates I had to crank my gain. I didn’t have this done, and This lack of knowledge caused me to spike at 32 psi last night and I chucked one of my Garrett’s. Anyways this is how I have mine mounted until i figure my mounting situation, used a sanding block lol. If anyone has any info on gain setting etc or more info on the controller let me know thanks boys n gals.
  18. hey mate I really wanted to buy the mount that gets rid of the ash tray like the bottom picture. I thought this was a special buy a long long time ago that someone was making custom on the site...if I could find this piece this is exactly what I want for the controller. or I could just make it I guess... my hks gauges and aem wideband im doing in the glovebox like you. I sure would love to find that ashtray mount infact I would pay for yours if you find a group buy etc.
  19. These ph hks gauges were over ten years old still OG in box!! Will post some pics on eve I get these mounted up with the evc, going to figure out the mounting In The centre vent with a custom made plate gunna be beefy.
  20. These are the hks gauges I got. Over ten years old still in there original box!!!
  21. My haltec is set Up at 100 percent Duty cycle and I’m in open loop...I’ll get my tuner to look into this further. My haltec ecu was a used platinum I got off ebay. Seems to work just fine tho. And yeah goin with the centre dash mount forsure. Thanks for the help mate. Cheers
  22. truth be told I didn't even know there was a seven. looks really good definitely nicer than the 5. I didn't like the look of the 6 at all. but who cares really its all junk kinda. i only paid 200 dollars for mine. manual boost controller is nice as far as im concerned. this stuff is bells and whistles!
  23. my centre vent has some dash shrinkage, I don't use my centre vent only my defrost its always snowing and crap conditions where I live so need the heat there always. kind of fun really though the weather. I was going to remove it and make a custom mount/plate that's flush when bolted down. ( my friend has a lazer plasma table can cut cool stuff for me.) try to wrap it in the same finish as the interior dash.
  24. I also have 2 brand new old school hks compound 60mm gauges I’m gunna plumb in tonight.(I’ll post a picture there dope) It’s the only aftermarket pieces I’m showing on the inside of the car any good ideas for a spot to mount them up? Clean and sleek I don’t wanna use my glovebox tho.
  25. Your a smarter man than I am I will leave it as is. It holds boost way better now which is wierd and my air fuels are better now. So what ever it’s doin I’m gunna leave it.
