  3. Hahahah my man she held together! For now....here’s a video 580whp is where we stopped for now.... FullSizeRender.mov
  4. actually quote unquote i may just keep pushing it tonight till it cracks the block or lifts the head, rod bolts, oilpump, lol sorry if this cringes anyone out but gunna get dangerous with her. im curious to see what it can handle
  5. i have been building a motor the whole time the car build has been going on. just took some time with machinging as we were only using the stocker to fab everything up but now fak it gunna see waht it can do. it was a stock r33 motor in MINT condition. i bought 3500 dollars in sonic testing equipment and the block was unreal. i was considering sending it to herman an prp to confirm my test. but it was clear the block has seen no abuse the end bearings were still in great shape. i couldnt care less if i broke the block ive read over a million threads about it im well aware good chap lol. you can see it in about the middle of my build thread. the block is finally complete with a prp brace. Head is now ported and finished. just have to assemble it then we will install it end of month, so shouldnt have any cracking issues. im using a 6466 on the new engine. cheers
  6. oh mate. the building is literally falling apart every time we do a pull. wellness. very humbling unit i truely dont give a rats ass about jz's anymore. long live the forever oil starving/weakrod bolts/ head gasket/ bad oil pump RB26 who cares i love her let make some power see what a stocker can handle. going till we lift the head
  7. Well i know this thread got a little wanky, but i have to eat my foot on something and jump back to why i even started this thread. the whole problem was when we turned the set screw in to tighten down on the cherry sensor i must have ate my wheaties that morning because i crushed the sensor which is why it would read irratic. prp has since changed it to jam nuts one ach side of the bracket(prp wierdness) and once we tightened the jam nuts down we had to grind off the nuts on one side so it wouldnt rub on the stock crank pulley. now made some serious power with the prp trigger and e85. doing another pull tonight on 25 psi
  8. unopened rb26 precision 6266 1.15 a/r 1200cc fic twin intank 450 walbros platinum pro prp trigger(installed after another cas failed on us had a crushed cherry sensor from the set screw so got a new one and good to go now as this was a on going issue for me as some may know) r35 coils prp plazmaman intercooler 4" exhaust and dp kelford cam gears stock cams god have mercy on my stock gearbox. 450whp on pump at 17 psi 570whp E85 23psi throwing studs in today going to go up for 25 psi for a final tune and numbers. cheers mate thanks again SAU members for helping finish the car. built motor hopefully done soon on a 6466 BB for the winter, 900hp dreams. dynocom hub dyno is what we use. mainline hubs would be nice they have a u joint in them so you dont have to line them up so deadly and doesnt shake as much during a pull. oh well we got what we got and they work. so for living in the middle of no where we are blessed to even have a dyno option. cheers
  9. I’d rather have my scratched up warn out r32 over any other whip out there. Even tho she has tried to kill me many times now and has cost me every dollar I’ve ever made and then some. I still know the old girl will always be a warrior for me after a day of cutting trees. I don’t even have words why something so average and essentially worthless(can’t take it to the grave) makes me so happy. Family first and I don’t believe in idolizing metal or anything other than god and family. but dam I sure do enjoy fixing and learning things that may be old news to most about the old gtr.
  10. Well much to my surprise the car made over 400whp at 14 psi. We literally did one pull and we noticed a boost leak in the Mac valve so need a new one then will try again tomorrow. I couldn’t believe it made 400 already with no timing at all, pump gas, and we didn’t even rev it past 7500. So e85 tomorrow I jus don’t know how far to pay it being the stock motor still. My long block is almost complete but want to see what the stocker can handle. I was thinking 23 psi on e85 and 17psi on shell v power 91 octane. Cheers mates finally got to have some fun with the car again. Rb power! Thanks to Ben (bk) again for all the help throughout the roller coster! FullSizeRender.mov FullSizeRender.mov
  11. yes. i didnt even know what pwm was until you mentioned it bro. like i said i really am trying to learn all this stuff as i go im no where near on your level mate. the tuning, the pump setups, trigger kits, was all newish to me as im sure you know with the 100 questioned ive asked you over the year. i was just a very old school gtr owner that fixed my twin gtr as it broke back in the day. this is my first shot at a hopefully reliableish single set up as well. i have been practicing my tig welding tho and getting pretty good, im going to do all the piping on the bmw. just been busy with trees but taking a few days off hopefully soon to get some work done on the beamer, dyno vids uploaded, and hopefully some vids of smoking some hellcats and r35's.
  12. will post skids, dyno, graphs tonight.
  13. this is how we wired it last night. one pump running all the time. other pump kicks in at 10psi. base fuel pressure is 45psi. nothing fancy yet. it pulled 580whp at 23 psi i was very happy with that. i havent got the built motor in there yet so this is as far as im going to push it for now. it feels extremely fast for now.
  14. Just fricken Sunk her with 30k of weight on the back. Lucky when your stuck with a skid steer on the back your really never stuck. Had to jump the skid steer off the trailer because ramps couldn’t open up it was so sunk lol. A day in my life actually quite normal lol
  15. Boom, I actually found some locally at a solar place for wind towers! Thanks again for all your help Ben.
  16. hey ben do you know which heat sinks i need to order for the haltech relays. and when i do attach them do i use an adhesive with screws or do i just screw er down to a heat sink? cheers mate
  17. ok cool ill make sure too mount the haltech ones to some cooling fins and do it right. im done frying pumps. gotta slay some trees and finish up this mess, then we are gunna tune it up on e85
  18. i ended up buying some haltech ones as they ship super fast and here withing a few days.
  19. i dont understand how the heat sinks work. does it literally just pull heat from the relay as it warms up because of the shape of cooling fins much like some aftermarket diff covers?
  20. i wonder why they are priced so much differently look at these ones i found and no heat sink D1D100 Sensata/crydom, SSR, 100A, 100V (newark.com)
  21. cool ill check it out. thanks good mate.
  22. so i had no idea that i need solid state relays with my fuel pumps so this was my issue the whole time with relays getting hot and pumps dying. ive now going to run these 100 Amp DC Solid State Relay with Heat Sink (windandsolar.com) thanks bk yet again.
  23. 100 Amp DC Solid State Relay with Heat Sink (windandsolar.com) hey ben thanks again mate. attached a link of a 100amp one i found much like picture above. let me know if you approve im excited to give these a try. still learning way to much everyday
  24. Lol very car related this is how my brain goes when my gtr is away. IMG_2522.MOV
  25. Giving the old girl some love now that the gtr is out of my hair for a bit!
